Hi there Farmgirls Southwest Henhouse "CHICKS",
Before we get off into our summers and all that means for us with running here and there, outdoor work/activites, etc. let's do one more thing with and for each other to help us keep "connected".
Just another way . . . and I hope simple and inexpensive . . for us to communicate with each other here in the Henhouse.
Here's the scoop:
- Send a POSTCARD to EACH "chick" who signups to participate
- Just write a quick personal note ("cluck") on your POSTCARD to the person you are sending to.
- SIGN UP here by MAY 15th
- MAIL postcards out by MAY 30th.
POSTCARDS can be ANY postcard you choose: vintage, souveneir, photo, etc. . . . whatever you want. If you WANT to make them, the go for it, but that is NOT required. Make sense?
You will send ONLY to those who signup to participate.
You will send ONLY a POSTCARD . . . . okay? Just a postcard with your sweet chick cluck message.

Thanks CJ ya know I saved it some where and now cant find it but I have just printed it off so I will be good for a couple of days.
Next time you are into to the changing factor of the list the number 4075 should be 1113 they changed the house numbers for the Feds.

Hello all,
Yes, my birthday is July 10th, but I am considering lobbying for a second one on the 28th! Why not? What are the fifties for, except to celebrate the heck out of being alive on this beautiful Earth?
Yes, sign me up for postcards. Sounds like fun.
I am up to my hair follicles in flowers, vegetables, herbs, and fruit. Yesterday I transplanted more than 200 basil plants I started from seed. Any takers? (this means you, Laurie, your the only close one!). Every surface in my world has flats, pots, or other containers for everything that will freeze but are too big for the little pots right now. Better watch your shoes!
Plus I've been taking a series of online classes in advanced photoshop that has my brain melting out my earholes.
I will come up for air!!!

Sounds like you need to sit down, put your feet up and have some tea . . . take a nap! My goodness!
I'm glad we finally got the birthday straightened out . . . again, I apologize for the confusion. But, sure, let's celebrate it again and again . . . and I'll celebrate mine again and again now that I'm in my 60s.
Quick, plug your ears . . . we don't want your brains melting out. I probably need to take something like that myself.
Anyway, don't work too hard!!!
I'll put you on the postcard list.

I'd like to be in on this but the only place I know around here to get postcards is Walmart and they are the Colorado ones. Where do you all buy postcards?
