I know I am new to this group, so I will just put it out there that I am crazy, crazy about all things Fall! It is my favorite season ever! You just can't have enough apples, scarecrows and pumpkins in my opinion. So, I posted today on the regular MJF connection this:

Hehehe, anyone else a closet Fall lover?? I know it is sort of weird to be talking about it now because many of you are trying to enjoy the heat after such a long hard winter. However, for this Florida dweller, it is all I think about come middle of July and the heat and humidity have worn out their welcome!!

Who else has premature "Fall Fever"??

OH how I love candy corn, but I am not ready for fall at all.
At 9000 feet our summer is a very short season so I want to enjoy it as long as I can. But, I do love fall too. We live for summer here and the warm weather.
Hugs,
Debbie

I love fall, not to hot and not to cold, and I love to hear the wind blowing through the pines. When it is windy and you need a sweater on!

Fall is probably my favorite time of the year. I am Originally from New England where the Fall color is gorgeous! However I spent 21 years in Florida, with no Fall color. So living in the North Georgia Mountains, where we have four distinct seasons, I love them all, but Fall is number 1! Then Spring. Summer and Winter I really enjoy different things about each.
Thankful for all the beauty in our great country!
That candy corn looks mighty good!
Hugs, Ruth

I LOVE fall! It is my all time favorite season, followed closely by Spring.
I just love when all the colors change and the canning is all done and looks so nice stored away in the pantry. The colors and all the wonderful things to decorate with. It is such a pretty way to ease us into the winter. And like Marlee I enjoy listening to the wind in the pines and being just cool enough to need a sweater.

PeggyAnn, you nailed another of my Fall favorites: Starbuck's Pumpkin Spice Lattes!! And I love those photos to just remind me of the gorgeous fall colors. I grew up in Virginia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mts. where fall was always so pretty. We have lived in Florida 40+ years and every year I have to go to the mts to get my fall fix. It just draws me like a magnet!

I do, however, totally understand that those of you living where Summer is short are cherishing those brief days of gardening, porch sitting, and soaking in the heat!

I just posted about completing these projects today on the regular MJF Connection. The heat and humidity were just so miserable this week that being inside and crafting was a good solution! At least today, it didn't rain which is wonderful because we have gotten about 6 inches of rain in the past week! Everything is saturated and more rain is coming this weekend again. Anyway, my fall dreaming and scheming continues unabated down here in Gainesville, Florida and I wanted to share what I have been up to lately.

For all the details, see my original post at the Connection under Fall Anyone. If you want any specifics, just let me know and I am glad to share. I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoying your summer activities!

I love fall! It's my favorite time of the year. I finally get to bake bread, cinnamon rolls and homemade pizzas. The warm colors are in my living room all year long.

Fall is my favorite season! The colors, the sounds, the smells! Never mind the coolness of the air that's not Too cold yet!

Although I must admit.......this summer here has been pretty amazing weather wise, hasn't it Amber?
Not the extreme humidity or temps this year.

Fall is right around the corner !! I think we will all enjoy :)

Hugs to everyone,
Linda

That is what I thought too Sue! LOL The leaves on our little maple tree out back are already turning. It always starts in August and is the first one to lose all its leaves. Usually by the middle of September it is bare. I love Green Mountain's pumpkin spice coffee. It draws me into those fall days and decorating quickly. Now you have me all excited looking forward to it. We usually have a long fall here. The ground most times stays clear of snow well into February or March. So I enjoy fall for a long time. Last year was a bit of an exception with the Polar vortex coming in. I love decorating for fall. It is so easy as alot of my decor is geared towards the fall colors.

Denise~ Pumpkin Spice Coffee is also a favorite of mine as well as Starbuck's Pumpkin spice Latte! Mmmmmmm! We are so hot and humid here these days and honestly, we don't get much fall until it is time for Thanksgiving and putting up the Christmas Tree!! But I just pretend down here in Florida because after all, Fall is happening further north. Just look at that precocious little Maple Tree in your backyard! Truly a Leader!!LOL@
