JT went out back to cut down some branches and now he has a bad case of this. It is on his face and on one of his eye lids. That is where it started and has spread. I feel bad for him as it seems when he gets it, it is always bad. He has scrubbed it to open and dry it. Tonight he went and got an antihistamine and some other stuff to put on. I sure hopes it clears up soon. If not we will be heading to the Dr.

I have heard that too Linda but he hasn't tried it yet. We read something about oatmeal and baking soda made into a paste. put on and when dry to shower it off. I know all those things are to help dry it up if it would just stop spreading. He said he can't figure out how it is getting spread but it has to be that there are still spots that have the stuff(I don't now what it's called) in them.

So sorry......itchy rashes are miserable.
What I've heard is oatmeal in cheesecloth and just have it in the warm bath. Suppose to soothe the itching and irritation I think.

Good luck!

He has been taking 2ooo mg of vitamin c every hour, an antihistamine every 4 hrs and using the anti itch stuff to dry it up. It looks better this morning but then he had a small spot break out on his foot. Trying to keep my distance.

Well he finally broke down and went to the doctor. He is not a big fan of those.
They gave him the steroid Prednisone. Has to take it for 14 days. At least it works. He had to do this the last time too. Someone had told me Jewel weed but I haven't looked into that.
