i just got my Simple Swap package in mail.
Oh Sherry it is so nice. I love the loofa soap. I didn't know you could grow loofa, I use one but didn't know exactly what it was.
How neat and it is a pretty bar of soap.

Hi Carol, Didn't make the mail today :(! Hopefully tomorrow! Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary and Dave has a day trip planned, so it might be Wednesday, as we will leave early, and probably get home late. Going antiquing I think! I haven't been on a ":fun" outing really since I broke my hip, so really looking forward to a day out!!
It will be in the mail soon, I promise :)!

Happy Anniversary Ruth! No worries! I just realized that I do not have any, read nada, Christmas cards in the house. Can you imagine?! I was going to put yours in the mail tomorrow, but .... the Christmas card!!!! lol I cannot believe this! Where the heck was my head last year! lol

Hi Carole, I received my "Sweet" package from you today :)! Love the cookie cutter, and I didn't have a Star, imagine that ! I needed the Christmas Sprinkles to make my Sand Tart - Christmas Cookies, so now I have them - thank you very much :)! I love the black and white fabric, and I didn't have anything like it in my very little "stash"!
Dave and I both love Molasses Cookies, so your recipe will be put to good use. I LOVE cookies! Molasses being one of my favorites, and they are good for you too :)! Right????
After I sent your package out, I found the recipe I had written up for you laying on my cutting table (where I wrapped your package), so I owe you the Sand Tart recipe. Can I e-mail it to you? or do you want me to send it snail mail??? I have been making them for 50 plus years, and it is a must for our family for Christmas. They are cut-out cookies, but I think worth the effort :)! Tradition!!

Oh my goodness Carol, that is the sweetest-t-towel ever :)! LOVE it! I have a small collection of embroidered dish towels, and they are all "treasures", this one is just so cute and personal!

I looked up the word tea towel and this is what I came up with
A tea towel or drying-up cloth (English), or dish towel (American) is a cloth which is used to dry dishes, cutlery, etc., after they have been washed. In 18th century England, a tea towel was a special linen drying cloth used by the mistress of the house to dry her precious and expensive china tea things.
I thought I would share it.

| Hi Carole, Did you receive the package from me??? It should have been there today. Yes, you do need to make one of those sweet tea towels for yourself - it is just the cutest :)! Mine is hanging on the oven door as we speak. I have dog biscuits baking in the oven, and they smell good enough to eat and the dogs are going crazy smelling them :)! |

I just found out tonight that Sherry's package got detoured up to my daughter's in Washington and is now on its way to Sherry again.
I used an envelope that had been used and forgot to black out my daughter's address.
