| You are all welcome!! As many of you know already, I sent out hearts in January as Hearts of Hope for our new year. Then came the breast cancer diagnosis and the Hearts of Hope represented my hope for an ease with all the treatments of come and the hopes they will be effective. These hearts are easy to make and part of the fun is to put different prints and colors together. When I had days of fatigue, I could sit down and make hearts and now that has turned into a sort of new endeavor: seasonal hearts of hope. Same message but given in colors of the seasons. I have been giving them away to family and friends in cards or just letting them pick what they want from a basket of finished ones. It is a little way for me to let others know I am thinking of them and wishing them that the hopes in their hearts come to fruition. There might be more in your future via Farmgirl mail! LOL!! |

I am very glad you are enjoying my hearts too. Sometimes it is the very simple things to make can bring fun and smiles.
Darlene, thank-you for your ecard today for Labor Day! It was fun to open because normally I never get a greeting for this holiday. |

| Denise, thank-you for the darling bunting of wooden apples saying Apple Picking time!!!! This is just adorable and as soon as the hurricane passes and all is well, I plan to hang it out on my porch where it can add such a fall twist to the area. You did such a great job and what a clever idea. During most of the year, I use apple themed pillow covers on the red fabric furniture so this can stay up all year long. I also have some oil cloth covers for side tables and the main sofa table in a bold red apple print. This can stay up all year long and I have just the place to safely hang it up. When I get it put up, I can take a photo to share. What surprise for celebrating our Apple Festival over at the main Chatroom! |
