Shannon, I am so happy that you enjoyed my little fun package for you! Little Emi is going to be very fixed up with new little Farmgirl garb. I hope you have time for tea some days as you put your feet up and get a bit of R&R these last few weeks before Emi's arrival.

I just wanted to thank Winnie for the package I received today. You are so kind to send me one of your fabulous candles. It smells wonderful and I love the little tea light. It is my first fall decoration put out! The apple picking hat is too cute and I love the tea and mug rug. Tori was here when I brought the mail up and she loves the hat! You have me all set for Apple celebrating. Oh and we are going to be making apple crisp with that recipe and topping mix you sent! My goodness I felt spoiled. Guess what? I just found out today that they have ginger golds to pick at one of the farm markets. You brightened my day considerably Winnie, thank you.

Hi Denise, and I am happy to learn that you were happily surprised by the little box of apple themed goodies! You will have to wear your hat and take Tori to the farm market for some Ginger Golds to make some apple crisp. It is getting closer to September when all the apples will be ripening and filling the market stands. Have a great weekend!!

Yesterday afternoon we got another box in the mail. The kids were jumping up and down as they brought it in, saying one of my Farmgirl sisters sent another gift for Emi. Laughing, I told them that just because we get a box, does not mean it is from a Farmgirl sister, or that it is for Emi... Ummm yeah I was wrong and they were right! Thank you Julie for your delightful gift for Emi! Baby soaps are one of those perfect gifts, as they get used so quickly, and honestly, I haven't even thought about buying any of that stuff for Emi! (I know - such a slacker I am!) And then there was the other bag - adorable bibs, a burp cloth, the cutest little headbands I have ever seen, and an adorable outfit. Thank you so much!!!

Oh boy Shannon, I hope you can post some pictures so we can see all the things for little Emi! Don't you just love that the children are excited for you and Emi. She is going to have some wonderful siblings watching out for her.

Today we received two more boxes for Emi! Thank you so much Darlene and Alexis!!! Alexis sent a gorgeous bright pink baby afghan! It is lovely and I can only imagine how long it took to create! Darlene sent a box of multiple goodies. The kids were most excited about the stuffed frog that ribbits and the purple elephant :) She also sent Emi two adorable outfits - one that is a zebra print one piece that came with a lovey, and the other a pair of pants, shirt, and socks. Both are really cute! She also sent me some tea, lotion, magnet, charm that has my name, and a gorgeous jewelry box from India. Thank you both, ladies, so much!

I don't think I can express my gratitude thoroughly or well enough to all of you. Or my shock. I come from a family of five... my hubby comes from a family of three... those sisters (in-law) will not be sending anything for Emi.... and I do not expect them to, as they only have for our first child. My hubby's mom will probably bring something for her when she visits in September. I don't even know when my parents will come to meet her (though they are retired and full time travel, with a house only three hours from here now!). There is no baby shower for Emi - not even at our church. The fact that all of you - strangers, yet sisters, have shown such love for this child within me, myself, and our family touches me in a way that I can never fully explain. Thank you!

Shannon, thank you for posting all those pictures, that was a big job! Darlene is right, you are both loved and awesome!

Alicia, you are welcome! Hope everyone is back in good health soon !

Carole, thank you for your sweet note about my kitty. The note card is beautiful, I loved reading the info on the back about the quilt patterns. But most of all I loved the kind words from my "mama hen!"

Happy Day!

Shannon I'm thrilled your family enjoyed the presents. It’s a lot of fun reading about your kids and the pleasure they got from the shower. Its fun and rewarding for the giver too...good for the soul and the self! Cheers! Have a great day and thanks for posting all those pictures of everyone's creative items. Lexi

Received a sweet note from Katie with a magazine clipping about old roses, my favorite flower. Imagine her remembering that from our info sheets! Thanks so much, Katie, I really enjoyed the article. That was such an unbelievably thoughtful thing to do!:)

A little slow on posting Emi's gift from Sherry... but we truly do love it! The disposable diapers were quickly put to use - in fact, before I even got a picture! I did manage to put a few of them in. The disposable diapers will be used as well. We generally do both disposable and cloth, but thus far, disposable has been the easiest! The owl lovey is beyond adorable!!! Thank you so much Sherry!!!

Also wanted to share a picture of Emi in her outfit from Carole
