Thank you Winnie! for the Apple Card and sweet mug rug! Coaster! Been hot here and my mom has been in hospital and has to have another surgery the end of the month, still not sure what the problem is. Your letter lifted my spirits! Just being a part of the henhouse lifts me up!
Prayers for everyone, so many of us, with so much Heart aches and body aches. This too shall pass!.jpg?v 34114158) Fall is coming!!!

Yes, thanks Connie, everyone needs a hug now and again. I am glad you posted that beautiful picture here.
Today our Miss Independent drove herself to a town thirty miles away to watch her friends play in a volleyball tournament. I was concerned because she has never ventured off alone before. I became more concerned when my son did not know ( or remember(she says she told him yesterday). I prayed off and on all day and texted her several times. Finally she called me about 4:45 to tell me she was coming up the driveway. Thank you God. I know she will be 17 next week, but I have ridden with her too. Pretty scarey. God has a huge job keeping her safe.
My dental fitting went pretty good. In two to three weeks I should get my mouth full of bubblegum. The dentist said she could understand me today, but said I will have to learn to talk again. She said she tells everyone to read and read aloud, for several days. At least I will have something to hold my top lip out. Ha! In the beginning I would not go out in public because of the swelling and bruising. Now I go some and often see kids staring at me. I know I look funny...I have looked in the mirror. |

Hey Marilyn!! lots going on here, Heat is back!! Not a lot of people coming here in West Tennessee to see Eclipse. We just had 1000.s here for the 40th Anniversary of Elvis Presley's Death. I watch it on TV. Too hot, too crowded for me to go to any of the celebrations. I have family that go every year to the Candle light Vigil. They saw Lisa Marie Presley and her kids this year. My God-Son lives in Nashville, people coming more to there and Middle Tn, to see more of the Eclipse. Map shows the path of the Eclipse going through Middle Tennessee. Many prayers also for you!!

I want to thank several of my farmsisters for the cards and prayers, they were very much appreciated. Dave is still not feeling well, we have an appointment tomorrow with the ENT surgeon to see if he is still having issues from his surgery (Sinus infection, blockage??), then on Wednesday, we see our gastro NP, so she can get some things going, maybe a CT, he does have a colonoscopy and endoscopy scheduled for the 5th of September, as well as a kidney specialist (same day), and thankful for that as they are 2 hours away. My daughter is feeling better, so happy that nasty gallbladder is gone :)! Granddaughter and her hubby seem to be adjusting to loosing their first baby (at 12 weeks in womb). I just returned from a trip to be with my two sisters in our hometown of Scituate, MA. We had a great time. We have never done this before, just the three of us "girls". Priceless.

| RAOK happen when you least expect them. I grocery shopped this morning and when I returned my water was off. I called the city and I had not paid Aug bill. I made out the check because I recorded it but I don't know what I did with it. Then the tears came. After since I lost Dustin I am on the verge of tears at all times. I told the young woman why I was crying and she talked with her supervisor. They waived the charge to turn it back on if I mailed it today, and sent a man right out. I sent them a thank you note with my check. |
