| Marlee, what a surprise was in my mail box yesterday afternoon late. (I had to go out and pick my friend, who can no longer drive, up and take her to run a couple of errands then she did bike therapy, etc.while I did my pool therapy. Then I took her home. She falls a lot and her husband always asks her to stay inside when he is at work. Well she fell yesterday, in front of the nursing home where she had been checking on his mother. His brother helped her up and walked her to my car. Anyway, that was why I got my mail later than usual! In the package I found a thick hot pad, burnt orange Autumn color, which I love.Did you knit or crochet it? Then there was the pot holder, with gold and it says GIVE thanks! Next was a spatula with pumpkins on one side and measurements on the back! What an awesome idea!!! You also included small tablet, a color book for ladies and a wooden bookmark that says, "Start each day with a grateful heart!" I love everything and was truly so surprised. Thank you my friend. |

| Marlee I forgot to mention the recipe for pecans with Creole seasoning. My son loves all spicy foods, so I will fix him some for Christmas. Thanks for sharing. |

| Thank you Ruth for your sweet little puppy dog card. It reminds me of the Australian Shepherds I see so many of these days. When my uncle died, many years ago, my mother brought me his cow dog. He was beautiful with one blue she and one golden yellow eye. Every afternoon I walked to gather our 100 milking cows. He would not help me! Finally one day I took the pickup. He was amazing! My elderly uncle drove a pickup when he caked grandma's herd of stocker cattle. His dog did not understand my walking. |
