My grandfather was 102 when he passed away. His last residence was in an Amish senior living facility in Southern Illinois. They took very good care of the residents.

Wow! Linda, your dad was amazing too. My uncle said he kept living because he wanted to see Jesus'return... But I think he met him in heaven.

It was my maternal grandfather, not my father. My dad died at 84 and my mother at 89. My great grandmother on my mother's side was 102, I believe, when she died, also. Lot of longevity on my mother's side.

Linda, we have longevity on my dad's side. My great uncle, my dad's uncle, was 106 when he died and he still played the violin. My dad's sibling were in their late 80s and early 90s except his sister who is 99. They are having a 100th party for her next year if she is still here. She said she would stay for the party.

Thank-you Denise and Carole for the lovely Thanksgiving cards! I am enjoying hanging them all on my window bunting. It makes my cabin very cheerful to walk in and see that right away!

Yep. Where we will be moving in several months we hate the post office there. At least for Ed's rural property they can never get it right; hopefully, since we will be in town, the mail delivery service will be better. We shall see.

Thanks ladies. I enjoy making cards. For December ... Well let's just say I found your cards.
( It is amazing what I have found in the file cabinets in my sewing/crafting house. It was almost like shopping at Michaels.
