| Darlene, I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful birthday card. I love the picture on the front. And also thank you for the bookmarks. They are so cute. I used to have a shirt with one of the House Mouse designs. I'll put those to good use right away. |

| Winnie thank you so much for the box of treasures/goodies. You are so sweet to think me deserving. Thank you so much. Those mittens without fingers fit nicely. They will warm my joints where the thumb and fingers leave my hands, that is where I need warmth. No chicken pen activity for them. They are too pretty. |

| Marilyn, I am so happy you enjoyed your little surprise for being our FGOTM and that the gloves fit your hands well. They are washable in cold water and flat dry, so don’t hesitate to wear them wherever you need to keep your hands warm. Valentines is one of my favorite Holidays and I love to make homemade ones. Did not get it done this year.
January was a rough month here!

Are you a good friend of our special fiend Connie?
I remember when I was in seventh grade...the HS principal called our junior high school to say they had just enjoyed the best assembly program ever! Then he said we could also have this assembly if we could get all of the students into the auditorium quickly.
It seems that there were some young guys who were driving around the country...western Texas...playing music and singing at schools during the day and in beer joints/honkey tonks at night. They were not famous...y e t !
Well about thirty minutes later the assembly began with squeals of delight. The music... the likes of which most of us had never heard before. The music had a beat/high energy! The base fiddle player wore a long sleeved western shirt, and the sleeve slapped that instrument every time he moved his hand. We were excited! That was our introduction to rock and roll. We were jumping up and down...screaming and some were swooning! Elvis, I had never heard of you before that day...but I became a fan just like the other kids.
You were a Handsome young man with a voice like velvet.
And thank you Connie for a trip down memory lane. |

Thank you Connie for the special celebration package you sent. Hadlee opened it for me. We were in the car. Thank you for the bunny made from the vintage linens. That roo is too cute.
I enjoyed munching on the cracker jacks...although Had said if I did not stop I would be sick.
I responded that it took me back to a time when I was eight years old watching the circus...dreaming of being a lady on the flying trapeze. Well that never happened and I did not get sick... Cracker Jacks are the best caramel corn ever made.
