I thought I would create a post for prayer requests.

Please use this post for all your request for prayers. We'll concentrate all the energy in one spot!

I would like to keep our front porch and/or fire chats about casual conversations, as if we were sitting face to face and catching up on life!

Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers! Namaste!

This request isn't for me personally but I feel it is necessary. Being tomorrow is the 4th. I hope we will all be in prayer for our country. A country divided cannot stand. There are a lot of issues that seem to be going on that are dividing the peoples of our country. I just pray we could become united once again.
Thanks for starting this thread Carole.

Please pray for my 2 yo Aly. Took her to the ER yesterday evening... she has small bowel intussusception, where part of her small intestine has telescoped into itself, causing bowel obstruction and severe abdominal pain. Right now we are holding off on surgery or any procedures and watching and waiting to see if it will fix itself. And we are still planing to move tomorrow...

Oh Dear Shannon! Will be praying for her and you and your whole family! I think this move will remove a lot of stress from your life once it's done, getting you away from that extremely disturbed neighbor. Bless your heart, you have had so much to contend with!

Happy Day!

Dear friends, please keep my sweet mom in your prayers. She fell yesterday and fractured a rib. Amazingly, although she also hit her head and landed on her hips, there was no other injury, and the fracture is very small. After spending most of the day at the emergency room we were able to bring her home, and the doctor said there is absolutely no reason she can't go on vacation next week. She's one tough cookie -- at 93, a great example of the benefits of a healthy diet!

The Hand of the Creator was definitely on my family yesterday. It just so happened that my brother was already on his way from New York for a visit, my daughter was working at the hospital that day and that shift, and the emergency room doctor was a good friend of our family doctor! Many blessings of already, but I'd be grateful for your prayers and positive thoughts!

Happy Day!

Amy, so sorry your mom fell but glad she is okay to be home. Will pray for her for quick healing. Our parents are very independent and tough aren't they? Dad will be 90 in Sept. and I am amazed at what he has come through in the last year.

Prayers please, I am trying for a car and in the price range I can afford. I found one but am waiting to see if the dealer will go for it, and I know if God wants me to have it it will happen. It is a very nice driving car.I find out tomorrow morning.

Darlene, I just saw this. Did you get the car?

My mom is healing incredibly well. Sadly, while were away her best of 90 years or so passed away. Thankfully, we saw her the night before we left. She was in hospice care with advanced colon cancer, and it was obvious she would pass away soon. She was a sweet, generous lady of great faith who lived a full and wonderful life.

Happy Day!

Hi Amy, wa
I am glad your mom is healing well but sorry to hear about her best friend but she is in a very special loving place now with no pain, and you can't get any better than being in Heaven with Jesus.

I got a car and my bank worked with me a Not what I was thinking of but I really didn't know what I would get.

All my sisters please pray for my hubby Terry. He has been having issues mentally. He forgets what day it is, not all the time. He always think someone is coming or has to go somewhere. It been going on a three or so months. But sometimes worse than other days. Like today was great. But please keep him in your prayers.

Marlee, I will keep you and Terry in my thoughts and prayers. Have you made an appointment with the doctor to see what sort of thing is going on? This does not sound normal if it is lasting a few months. Take care of yourself too.

Marlee - definitely praying for you and Terry!!!!

I'm asking for prayers for myself and Emi. Today is her official due date. They are giving me until September 2nd before they start pushing for a c-section. Knowing she is due today is really playing havoc on me mentally. I know she will come when she comes, yet I feel like my body is failing, somehow. I have been having contractions for DAYS, yet nothing. I am sore and tired... and whiny ;)
