Ladies may I ask you to join me in praying for a little boy named Luke, who lives in our community. He is only three, has cancer and his first chemo treatment was last night. I do not personally know this young family, but they have three kids, 5, 3 and 1. They know God and believe He can cure little Luke. Thank you.

Marilyn I am joining you in the prayer of this little 3 year old boy, Luke who is going through his first treatment of Chemo. Pray that he won't have much pain and that he be healed by the power of God. Lord Bless the whole family.
Amen.

Thank you all for adding Luke to your prayers. I understand that he has neuroblastoma. I know God can cure this disease because a girl in my oldest grand daughter's class was diagnosed with it in early elementary school. By third grade she was bald for a second time...but she is alive today. Praise God. I also know it can turn out very differently. It is , of coarse, God's will.

This is actually a Praise to God! Our Hadlee, age 15, was baptised this morning in the same little country church, in the same metal horse trough her sister was baptised in just a year ago. Praise God, from whom all blessings flow.

Please add a Texas family to your prayer list. These wonderful grandparents, who are raising their irresponsible son's children, are grieving the loss of a child. I have known this family for almost 40 years, taught with him in two different school districts, and they are both older than me. The children are two, four and five. On Tuesday afternoon during nap time the five year old slipped passed the hired Nanny, went outside, and was later found in a neighbor's pool, unresponsive. These grandparents had taken the kids because they were being abused and neglected by the mother. This little girl would come with her popa to get her sister from school. She had changed from a fearful child to a bubbly personality. It is very sad.

Oh Marilyn! Our family will definitely be praying for these grieving grandparents and her siblings! We will also pray for the biological parents... That they find their way

Luke is bald, of course. He is in the hospital. He was visited by a local young man who plays pro football. He gave Luke a football.I'm sure that made his hospital bed a bit merrier. I do not know how long the treatments last.

Darlene - I am basically in an "endocrine crisis" and severely anemic. Wish these two things would have an effect on my weight and make it drop as all the rest of my numbers seems to be dropping. Lol. The rest of the family is doing well.... Except Emi being underweight. Brad is headed to Wyoming to find our forever home :) if you could please pray that God will clearly show him which is the right property!

Love that Luke received the football from the player! There are some people out there with big hearts, even though they make it to "the big times."
