This is what just happened here...
Prayers please!!! My grandmother is not well. She has been able to breathe well for longer than I care to think right now. She has been in out of the hospital for a couple of years. Sometimes spending as long 3 weeks trying to regulate her breathing in the hospital. About 15 years ago, her aorta "dissected", she had an aortic anerysim, that, fortunately only split inside and held up on the outside she she didn't bleed out. Over time and many concerns and scares, this has scarred over. The scar tissue has fused to her trachea and is the bulk of her breathing issues. The doctors have decided the best, and only, this to be done is take her to a specialist in Indy (by ambulance) to look at the possibility of getting these "unfused". It is highly risky. There is another large blood vessel in there, as well, and in the way. Currently, my dad and uncle are signing papers that any decisions that need made, they will have to agree upon and make. My grandfather is in the hospital, too, but being discharged today for severe pain in his hip. The doctors say it stems from his back and there isn't anymore they can do. I am terrified. Please PRAY!!!

Many Blessings- Alicia #5232

Alicia, prayers yes. How old are your grandparents? I know that we farmer people stress our bodies, when we are young and very able bodied...only to have it catch up with us in our later years. Salon Paas makes some pain patches that help a lot. I also have a Tenns unit that I use on my back.Pain patches I get at Wal-Mart and Walgreens has several Tenns units to choose from. Teaching school in high Heels for years, feeding baby calves, milking cows, building fence, jumping terraces while chasing cows, hauling hay...That did my back in. Pain destroys our quality of life. Perhaps these ideas might help your grandfather. My husband had a triple back surgery last Sept. with a two year recovery period. He also uses my methods when he over does and is sore and painful. God bless you.

Prayers, Alicia, to you, your grandparents and family, and doctors, that they will find a solution to alleviate your grandmother's breathing problems and your grandfather's hip pain.

Alicia, Praying for your grandparents. Such a difficult time in both of their lives, and your family as well. Praying for wisdom for the medical staff, and peace for your family.
I use acupuncture with success. People usually go when all else has failed! My Rhumatologist wanted to put me on 4 meds. I thought to myself - nope! I am doing well and thankful for it!

Praying for your Grand-parents Alicia. Sure is tough going through it all. Prying for the Dr's also, that they will be able to help and do the best they can.

A friend of mine is requesting prayer for her daughter, I have posted her message here below.
"Today Robin had to have 3 biopsies on her breast. We will not find anything out for 48 hours. If you will, please put her on your prayer chain at church. She needs all the prayers and positive thoughts she can get. Thank you so much!

Our Love,
David and Claudia"

Thank you.

Here is a quick update from my friend Claudia and Praise to the Lord for the results that came back and thank you for your special prayers.

"We had a wonderful telephone call from Robin about 3:30 p.m. The nurse called her and It was normal tissue thank the Lord. Like a friend said, "It was like a huge weight being lifted off of Robin's shoulders and of course ours too!" Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your prayers!

Love, Claudia"

God is always faithful and everything is in his timing, not ours, sometimes things are answered fast and sometimes it takes years. I sure couldn't do with out Him.

Thanks for praying everyone.

Wonderful new for Robin.

Alicia I will keep your family in my prayers. It's a lot to handle at once. I have been through times like that myself. It's difficult so sorry you have to experience it.

I have a prayer request. My sister, Terry, was just given the news she definitely has Breast Cancer. She goes to see a surgeon tomorrow. She would love lots of prayers. She and I are very close and know that God is taking care of her and her family. She doesn't know how she would make it without God as her Saviour.

Brenda I will put your sister in my prayers for the breast cancer and that God is right there guiding the surgeon's hands.
