Bonnie, Praying for you that you get your strength back soon! It does knock you for a loop :(! Try to get your rest, eat good, and drink lots.
Thanks for all your prayers for my sweet hubby! His heart has been behaving. They put him on two new meds, which must be helping. He does not feel very good, tired all the time. He will be due a new pacemaker in about 3 months. His Pacemaker only works about 5 percent of the time, but the batteries still need to be changed. They are keeping a close eye on him, for which we are grateful! He has many health issues due to Agent Orange :(! Vietnam Vet.
Thanks again for all your love and support

My mom called... that is actually a big deal, because I do not hear from my parents unless something is wrong.... My dad's liver enzymes and triglycerides have been super high... but his cholesterol good... so yesterday morning they did an ultrasound... the DOCTOR (not the office) called him this morning. they saw "something" on/in his liver... he has to go back tomorrow morning for more tests. They are thinking cancer... liver cancer... I'm trying not to worry, as i know worry is a sin.... but i'm struggling. prayers appreciated!

Shannon, I was sorry to hear about your Dad. I will be praying for him and for you. God knows your heart and He loves you just as you are. He made you that way :)!
I do have a praise! My hubby was on the way to the Dermatologist early this morning and hit black ice. Went all over the road, and ended up in a hedge of Forsythia (which probably saved him). Our truck had to be towed, haven't heard from them yet and the Sheriff brought him home. He didn't want me on the road, but our neighbor was heading that way and stopped to see about bringing him home, the Sheriff told him that he would. Love living in a small mountain town! He is sore, and broke his glasses, but otherwise seems good. We are praising the Lord tonight!

Ruth I know you are singing praises tonight. God is so good. And your husbands work here is not finished. God has given him more time. I just love God's miracles and His surprises too.

I have a prayer request for a young friend, a nurse, a former student, who needs a new liver. I also request prayer for another former student, a man. I will tell you more in a few days. Thank you.

Ruth - praising God with you!!!!! I love hearing things like that and knowing it was God's Hand!!!

Marilyn - praying for both of your former students!!! Is the first one a male or female? Not that it really matters.

The first one is female. She and her husband have two college age daughters. She is about 45 years old. Her grandparents raised her.

Thanks :) It makes a little easier to say she/her instead of "the nurse"

Thanks gals! Dave still gets emotional when he thinks about his accident! He knows that God protected him without a doubt and we drive by that spot daily, so it will be a constant reminder of His protection.
Praying for both of those requests Marilyn. Life can be sooo hard at times, but God is good in all things.
Shannon how are things with your Dad and Mom? Prayers continue

Thank you all for your prayers. I am finally getting better but still use the pills so I don't cough so much. God is good, all the time.
I am praying for your dad Shannon and for your two friends Marilyn. Keep us posted.

Bonnie it is good to hear that you are better.
The man I spoke of was five when I first taught him. His grandparents were taking care of him. His mom was...often gone. I also taught him in second and third grades. We spent three and a half years together, because someone decided to hold him back. Not me. Any way he sent me a message telling me his grandmother was not well, not expected to live much longer. He asked me not to say anything right then. We messaged back and forth a bit...then silence. Saturday morning she passed away, he messaged me with the news. We have messaged some more. Please pray that he can find peace. He has a little girl whom he loves dearly. She is five. She will help him as he tries to find his way. They all live on the family farm, very close.
