Marilyn, how sad for him. It's good he has you to reach out to when he has a need. We all need someone to talk to who knows and understands our situation.

Bonnie - so glad you are feeling better!!!

Ruth - I can only imagine how shaken up your hubby must have been!!! I've been in one major accident, and it took a loooong time for me not to shake when getting ready to drive again!

Marilyn - so sorry to hear his grandmother passed! Thanking God he has you to talk with! Praying for him and his family!

Still haven't heard any updates on my dad. In true VA style, they will probably send the lab results via the mail. Many of us are sick here. Flu like symptoms along with sinus infections. Yesterday we had windows open trying to air out the house.

Bonnie, So happy you are feeling better. I have heard that the cough lasts awhile :(! Have you tried eating local honey over crushed ice? Soothes your throat, plus the benefits of local honey.
Marilyn, I am sorry to hear about your friend's grandmother. It is so hard to loose someone very special in your life, ever! Praying for him to find that peace that comes from the Lord. Thank you for being there for him in his time of grieving. I think you have a special place in his heart and he feels comfortable talking to you! What a blessing that is for you both!

Thank you Ruth. With God in control of my life...I get lots of surprises...but never ever have I experienced this before. I felt honored that he shared with me. I pray that he is seeking God and the peace that God can give him.

So many prayer requests. I do try to keep all of you in my prayers.

I have been sick the last couple weeks with a horrible cold. Finally feeling better and getting out. Our grand-daughter is in the hospital again with liver and intestinal issues. Two masses were found on her liver that turned out to be blood vessels and they aren't worried about them for now. She may need a transplant in the future. She still has intestinal issues though. She is 26 and tired of being in the hospital.

Here I am again asking for your prayers.
This time my son is down with something. Sore throat, fever and horrible headache. I'd appreciate it if you all would remember him. So far dad is back to whatever normal is these days so thankful for that and praying he doesn't get what James has.

Prayers for your family Denise.
Last night was visitation and the funeral was today for the young man's grandmother. Last night, I had to ask someone who he was...he was eight years old when I saw him last. I walked over, shook his hand and asked, "How are you doing?"
He looked a bit funny and said, "I'm sorry, but I don't know who you are." My answer, "Well we have been messaging each other for a week." A big bear hug and then he said, I am sorry, I did not know it was you." I told him he now knows how I feel when I see one of the kids, like him, that I taught long, long ago. He is about 41 years old. I am praying that he lands upright, and can live without his "Rock" who is now in heaven.

Marilyn - I'm sure he was very glad that you were there for him. It is amazing when you see someone from long ago - sommetimes not that long ago - and they have changed. I notice it now more than ever.

Denise - offering prayers for your son and your father.

I'd like a few prayers for myself. I had my mammogram and the doctor called and said there is a small nodule they want to have another look at, so I have to go and get an ultrasound on that breast on April 4. The nurse said they do these all the time, so I am hoping it is nothing. Thanks, everyone.

Continuned prayers for everyone needing them.

Waiting is the hardest part. We think it is urgent...but must wait two or three weeks.

Darlene, it was about 7hours ago. It was a 3.2. Last week I felt two from Oklahoma. Someone ask if my house is pier and beam, it is. Their house on a slab had no movement.

I finally found it on the website. The front of my house is on posts too. There are things about both foundations. depending on the earthquake I think.

Anyway I didn't feel it.

Thanks

We got home late last night so I am now trying to catch up here. I hope everyone who was sick or in need of prayers is doing better. It seems like early Spring is often a time of sickness as winter just drags on with one virus after another.

My son went to the orthopaedic doctor this morning with the knee he hurt months ago. They drained about 65cc of fluid off. Please pray that this helps. When you are selfemployed and your family and crew depend on you to provide work and $, there does not seem like any time to have surgery.
