Hi gals,
I was wondering if you wouldn't mind keeping my brother in law, Dave and myself in prayer. Today marks the 2nd year of my sister's passing. Most days it's not bad but sometimes, usually when I'm driving along alone, I get overwhelmed missing her and my mom who passed the year before my sister. I'm the last woman in the immediate family.
Thanks.

Denise~~

I am asking for prayers for Emi... She has a respiratory infection and woke up struggling to breathe about an hour or so ago. She was able to nurse, so that was encouraging, but respiratory infections can be so serious in ones her age.

Thanks Winnie! It is presenting itself as RSV :( I had my fair share of seeing that on the pediatric floor! Nights are al ways the worst and hardest! I am extremely thankful sheiks still in the cosleeper next to the bed! Add to it that yesterday a step stool fell right on my Achilles tendon! I still cannot bear weight or move my toes this morning. I spoke with my doctor and I am staying off of it as much as possible, icing it and elevating it... If it is not better by Monday, I am suppose to go in to see her.

Oh Gosh, Shannon! I am sorry to hear about your foot injury as well. With a sick baby, you have a good excuse for staying in bed with her and keeping off of your foot as much as possible! Take care and keep us posted. RSV is a nasty thing as you well know! Plus it is highly contagious so keep the little siblings away from contact with any secretions from Emi.

Farmgirls, we need to send Shannon a wagon load of prayers this evening for healing in her home! Wagons Ho!!!

Thanks! Alas, Aly the 2yo, Ben the 4 yo, and Sammi the 6 yo are all sick now too! My biggest concerns are Aly and Emi as their little bodies will have the hardest time fighting it! They all woke up sick, and we didn't know Emi was sick until the wee hours of the morning! I am extremely thankful it is over a weekend, as my hubby has been a huge help, as has been my 12 yo! She is actually in the process of making more elderberry syrup in hopes of upping everyone's immune systems.

Please say a prayer for my cousin Amy. She is having a Hysterectomy Monday December 14th. She lives in Loveland CO. I wish I could be there to help her, Her mom is flying out today to be with her for a few weeks. She has been in so much pain and waiting on her Insurance Co. to approve her surgery. She has insurance through her work, She has worked there 15 years, never had to use it, she is 40. Her Dr. wanted to also repair her bladder at the same time and the insurance Co said, no??? it had to be a separate surgery. The Dr. appealed it to them and they still refused! She is like a daughter to me! Thanks!!

Will be praying for your cousin Connie! Insurance companies are so fickle! You would think they would be more agreeable, as it would save them money!

I am also asking prayers for our family. We were all starting to feel better, then in the last were slammed with another virus... with the main symptoms being 102-103 temps. I do not mind the idea of a fever, as i know they are the body's natural defense mechanism, to kill whatever the body is fighting, but i despise high fevers at night, in little ones! Last night my two year old was burning up! Thankfully this morning she is doing better! Also, Fridat the 18th, hubby will be having his back surgery. He will be off work for a month for recovery! Please pray for him, and the rest of us as we adjust!
