Brenda! I know what you mean. I have everyone's name in my prayer Journal. It's hard to believe it's almost June!
My Dr. said," looks like the antibiotics kicked out the infection!" My red spot is almost gone! and I have had no other symptoms!
I have been trying to get some housework done, it's just seems impossible! I get the sheets washed and changed and cooking and dished done, Potty and tub scrubbed, everything else is just let go. I have been cleaning since I was 10 and I'm tired of housework I guess! I would rather sew, or read or play with Lily june.
Thank you all for your prayers!!
Hugs! Connie

Thank you for your prayers and cards. My surgery is beginning the third week. I can see the hope of recovery! My husband Ken has even battling with a nasty staph infection since his surgery in November. If our son's white count is down by Friday, he can schedule his bladder cancer surgery. Wow, I don't want to live this spring over again. But our garden is literally bursting with beautiful blossoms. God is good.

That is a lot of fishing space. Is it cold there? My daughter and family maybe moving there from Washington, her DH maybe transferred there. :( Don't know anything yet. It is supposed to be a better job opportunity with the company he works at. They sent him there to check it out and work on some equipment while there. We shall see what the rest of the year brings for them.

hugs

Ladies,
I would appreciate prayers for my dad, for his upcoming appt. and wisdom for the best course of action to help him. He can no longer stand on his own and right now the guys are helping him. But they have to work and I cannot do this so we will need to figure out the best course that we can do for him.
No one prepares you for taking care of a parent.
Thank you all in advance.

Prayers being sent for you both Denise and Marlee.

I just need some good thought prayers. My neighbor's husband died about 1-1/2 month ago, and now she is selling her house. This may not sound like much, but her driveway is off my driveway about halfway up from the road. Well, they built her house about 2 years ago, knowing that when he passed away (he had progressing alzheimers) she would have to sell it. They have 2.22 acres, a carport for a mobile home (no longer there, but where they lived before the house was built) and a very large 2-car garage with a workshop area and a small apartment at the back of it. I've been worried, and looked up the MLS listing this morning at 4 AM when I couldn't sleep. The realtor has written the write-up towards finding a business to buy it - saying the small apartment could be a good office area for a business. I really do not want a car repair or heavy equipment company to buy this place; I am out in the county and there are no restrictions on the land use. The house also has handicap access, so could be suitable for an older couple with an RV and a hobby of woodworking or something like that. Cross your fingers and pray that a family of some kind - young or old - buys the property. I'm so afraid that if a large business buys it the place will get junked-up and I will not find it easy to sell my 115 year old farmhouse and land. Thanks for listening to my tirade. Oh, one more thing - she has it listed for $300K and the Appraisal District has it appraised for $160K. I have no idea how they think they can get that larger price.

Denise, sending up prayers for your Father and hope they can help him out and for you as well in dealing with this.
Marlee, sending up prayers for your hubby and glad the meds are helping. prayers for you to for the stress to ease up.
Linda Sorry to hear what is happening at your neighbors, I will put you in my prayers for a good couple to buy it and not a business, it is scary knowing what creepy kinds of businesses may go in there. With people buying places to grow in and stuff. Strong prayers for you all.
Take care and God Bless.

Denise, I am sorry your dad is getting weaker. Could you hire some one to come in mid day and help him get up, shower, etc. Then your men folk might be able to do early am and pm. Prayers sent...
Marlee, hopefully your husband will continue ue to feel better and stronger.
Linda, perhaps your neighborn will not find a buyer with her price so out of line with the appraised value. Did you sell the land to them? I am asking because her driveway connects with hers. Did you give her an easement to use your driveway?

Denise, I am sorry to hear about your Dad growing weaker. It is so hard taking care of an aging parent, but know that you are not alone. You have all of us to pray for direction, strength, peace, etc.Such a hard place to be!
Marlee, Glad your Hubby is doing better. Prayers for continued improved health. You are being prayed for as well, not easy seeing your hubby sick.
Linda, Praying that the property sells to a good family! And that you can give it to the Lord, and not stress over it! (Easier said than done - I know!!) But I have found, when I have no control over a situation, that I do so much better when I give it to the Lord, and Leave it with Him. Hugs and prayers to you all

Ruth that is so true. Give it to the Lord. And the most difficult part is leaving it with him.
