Marilyn, please do get better soon! Sending you lots of Farmgirl hugs!!

Everyone, please keep Florida in your prayers this weekend as Hurricane Irma comes our way. This storm is so big and powerful that it threatens to rip our state to shreds. We are getting all of our supplies ready and hoping and praying that it turns more out into the Atlantic and doesn't make landfall or come right up through the center of the state.

Please add Pam Barnes-Palty to your prayers. She tripped over a doggie gate and broke her hip. She had to have a replacement.

I read that two weeks after her fall she as able to go outside and sit and enjoy her garden, with the birds singing. After watching my husband heal from his broken hip, perhaps the recovery is quicker than some other injuries. Pam also said she is having some therapy at home.

Just wondering if you all wouldn't mind praying for my granddaughter Annie. Took her to the urgent care today. She has pinkeye which you probably know is contagious. Trying to keep all here from getting it.
