Of course pinkeye is contagious and now Annie has it in both eyes though the first eye is clearing but now her sister, Emi has it. Thinking we are probably all going to end up with it. They are little and they touch everything. I've been washing everything and my hands. So we will see. But prayers are still appreciated.

Please say a prayer for our Pastor and his wife. Mitch and Kim. They live in a very old section of Memphis for 30 years and the crime is getting so bad. They don't want to leave, love their home, but feel its time to go, they are both 50 years old.( babies) They are looking for a fixer upper. Pastor is a carpenter, which would come in handy and a Paramedic for the Sheriffs dept. They found an affordable one on 1 acre land about 8 miles from where I live. They really want it. Please pray for them that God will open another door if this is not the one!

Denise, I hope the pink eye outbreak has ended. It does make for some painful days when you get it. Handwashing is your best defense along with not putting your hands to your eyes to scratch.

Connie, I hope your pastor can find a new home. It sounds like the one they are hoping for would be wonderful too. Let us know how things work out.

Well, all three of the girls and Leslie were using eyedrops from the dr when they went home. So far we have not come out with it but it has a two week incubation period so this week will tell. I have been a stickler about hand washing. It is only contagious during the outbreak and 48 hrs after.
I have been laying low today dealing with a sore throat.

Hi Everyone, I'm asking for prayer for my DH. He said "Just ask for prayer for the outside and inside of my head." Not sure how serious it will be. Depends on the treatment He is receiving for now. He will be having surgery in March. It's in God's hands we know, but prayer sure is nice.

Thank you for the prayers everyone. They are greatly appreciated! Will let you know how it all turns out for him.

Keep washing those hands to stay well. My medical assistant daughter tells people that constantly. It does make a difference.

Praying for all of you too.

Heard on the news more than thirty children have lost their lives because of the flu. Lets remember the children and all others affected by the flu in our prayers. Prayers also for the love ones of those who have passed.

Thanks Bonnie. I still don't have anything to report on my DH. He had a check up this am, but it will be March before we really know what his status is. Thank you very much for your prayers everyone.

Hugs and prayers for all who need them. The flu this season is terrible - many in Texas have passed away, including children. So far over 3 times the number who passed away last year during the entire flu season.
Also for Brenda and her husband, and everyone in the henhouse and on MJF forum who need them.
