Connie is asking prayers for her husband. This is what she wrote "Took my hubby to the ER this morning. Has pancreatitis. Doing test. Today, tomorrow. Prayer s please." Keeping them both in prayer.

Prayers Connie. My nephew was hospitalized with that about four years ago.I don't know any particulars, but he seems to be doing good now. In fact he is walking his daughter down the aisle this coming Saturday evening!

Thank you Denise for posting! Thank you all for you prayers!! I have to use the desktop computer for most stuff, my phone is so small, hard to see and type on it. He is going down for MRI, but has staples in his chest from Heart surgery in 1990. So they are looking at another option. One Blessed thing is we are just 6 miles from the hospital!! His blood sugar and Blood pressure are way up. Pain med was not working so they changes to Delotta. (spelled wrong).

Im on the way back to the hospital now! Love you all.

Connie, please know that we all love you. Please take care of you.I know how difficult it is to sit and wait at a hospital.
I also know men are overgrown babies and think they need us nearby. God bless you as well as your husband.Hugs!

Thank you all so much for your emails and texts and PRAYERS!!!! Dr. says it's just and wait and see when the Pancreas is ready to calm down! he can go home when no pain meds are needed. I am taking it slow, doing what I can. I stay at hospital 4 hours a day, get home before dark, I cant see to drive great at night down the highway, no street lights, its under construction with big concrete barriers all over the place. I had to take a 7 mile detour to get home from the grocery store, I could see my woods from my car, they blocked it 3 houses from my street, he would not let me through.
will you pray for my cousin Sherry Davis, she just was admitted to hospital yesterday with bleeding in the colon.

Big Farmgirl hugs!!! Connie

Connie, you and DH are in my thoughts and prayers. Sorry you have bad roads to drive on - be safe. I've had night blindness since I was forty so I know how hard it is to have to drive after dark.

Prayers for you and Rex, Connie and also for your cousin Sherry. I don't drive after dark as I can't see well enough to do it.

Thank you all so much!
Rex was moved to a regular floor out of ICU. Still a waiting game, another Dr. was called in from the same GI group, he said, It's a Hurry up and wait game. They said, not much is known about the pancreas or why it attacks when it does. It seems the attacks just come out of no where, other than trauma and extreme alcohol use. My Grandmother died from Pancreatic cancer in 2005. She was 86, washing dishes, cooking one day, 6 weeks later she passed away. She did get Jaundice, that's what got her to the Dr. She didn't have the pain part. She had just felt tired, but she was 86 and still running her house by herself and taking care of my Paw-paw and a niece who was ill.
Thanks for all your prayers and for me too!! I love all of you!!!

Hugs! Connie

Rex's white ct is down from 22,000 to 12,000. They are scheduling him for a probe of the pancreas, to see if a stone is lodged in. Putting him on solid food tomorrow to see if he can tolerate it. He is so tired of that hospital, it will b 2 weeks tomorrow! Thanks for the prayers!
