I'm sorry that you are in so much pain. I usually take three Advil before bed time. I sometimes forget and Toss and turn or attempt to turn. That is when I go to the recliner. If I do go to s!eep there, when I get up to go to the bathroom I usually go back to bed. I have a memory foam mattress, but some nights are just difficult.

I am thinking the memory foam may help. My Dad had one on his bed and some times I go in the spare room and lay on it and it feels better. Just wishing it wasn't so close to Christmas. Still have a bit to do today. Cleaning and baking a couple of things.

My sister began having aches and pains about ten years ago...so when we were visiting she told me she was drinking joint juice and later on she purchased a memory foam mattress. So after quizzing her over several months, I decided to try one. At that time they were four inches but half of the four was another foam. Now I have seen them ten inches thick. I don't know how much of the ten inches is memory foam. But I know the memory foam is much better that a pillow top mattress. I was amazed at how it immediately springs back after your hand or body press it down.

I hate trying to get comfortable in bed. When my hip hurts I can't stay in any one position very long - at least until I get to sleep. I feel like I am constantly rolling over. Ed has a memory foam mattress, and his sister is using it ight now. When I did sleep on it, I really didn't notice a difference - maybe I need to try it again.

I sleep with a pillow under my legs for my hip pain, Linda.
I really would like to get a sleep number. My chiropractor recommended it and he bought one for his wife who has back trouble. For now I am going today to get a memory foam topper for our bed.

So sorry to hear that back pain has Linda and Denise down. That can be hard to deal with because no position seems to relieve the pain for very long.

Christmas prayers to all in need and their friends and neighbors during this Christmas tide.

The memory foam topper has really helped alot so I am definitely going to purchase a topper that fits our bed. I still cant sleep on my side which is the normal position for me but I think I should be pretty well healed by the end of the week. That is what I am hoping for anyway. Breathing is lots better. Doesn't hurt to breathe deep anymore so that to me is a great thing.

Please pray for my hubby... He slipped and fell on the ice/snow last night and fell on his back. I think most of you know he has a spinal cord stimulator due to a severe back injury from years ago in the military... that is of course right where he fell. He left for work today, so hopefully he makes it through it alright!

Well, I am recovering and now have a nasty sinus infection. Those things seem to come round every year. Hoping to get it over quickly because coughing and sneezing is no good on sore ribs.

Denise do you run a diffuser with essential oils? Different companies blend an oil called breathe easy. I credit it with keeping my head from being stopped up. Hadlee gave me a new diffuser for Christmas. It is a NOW brand. It is nice but only runs four hours. I used to have one that ran seven hours.

Denise, I am so sorry that you have both a sore back and now a sinus infection. I know it all makes you feel pretty miserable too. Maybe it is time for an antibiotic since you also have pain from your ribs and back? An Antibiotic will clear it up faster and spare you from having to cough and sneeze so much too. Sending you some Farmgirl hugs and prayers for a speedy recovery!

Ladies Shannon Hudson just texted me the following!!!! (Can you put Will on the prayer chain? Headed to Rapid City ER. He was hit in the eye with a dowel rod. Eye lid is cut. Colored part if eye is completely red. Watering blood.) Please Lord we lift Will up for complete healing! We ask that you bring him peace as I am sure he is terrified. Lord be with his parents and his siblings. Please Lord be with the doctors that are getting ready to touch him. Thank you in advance! I am sure Shannon will update as soon as she is able! Blessings Maryellen
