On Connie, I'm sorry you have not felt well today. I left early to go and visit my friend who no longer can drive. But now my prayers have joined our other sisters prayers.

Take it easy today Connie. I'm glad you have sunshine. I know how much it helps my mood. We have clouds and sputtering drips of rain today and tomorrow. God bless you Connie. More prayers for you and Sara too!

Thank you all for your sweet comments regarding my sister. As many of you know, it is a long and hard road when a loved one has Alzheimers or some other big Dementia disease.

Connie, I hope your MS fog lifts soon. I am happy that Lily June can help bring you some sunshine inside too!!

Prayers for us, we lost another one of our fur babies, Phoebe. She had surgery for an abcess tooth.infection was worse than thought. She only could use 3 of her paws. One was nerve damage. Probably from birth our vet said. We found her traveling with a Mama raccoon and her babies in our woods. We trapped her, got her to the vet. He said, the Mama raccoon protected her because she was hurt. She was only 8. She never grew any bigger. We are so sad. There was nothing we could do to save her.

So sorry for the loss of your fur baby, Connie. That is interesting how a wild animal protected her because she was hurt.
I'm sorry that you werent feeling well, and glad that you are feeling better.

I have seen a lot of wild animals and domestic animals being friend and protecting them. On You Tube, it is nice to see animals get along.

Thank you all so much. I miss her. The house seems empty without her. She went where ever I went I. The house. She loved the warmth of the laundry room always layed on the dryer when it was on.

I am feeling better, I think I am on the bottom side of my MS exacerbation, the feeling has returned to the numb spot above my left eye. I am still not sleeping. That comes and goes with MS. I still miss my Phoebe, I keep doing a double take when I walk past where she slept in the laundry room. Thank you all for your prayers! They mean the world to me!!

Connie,
I am so glad you are feeling better. I know the waves will come from your loss of Phoebe. I was that way with my two Boston Terriers. It takes a while and that's ok.

Prayers for those people in Nebraska and Iowa who are underwater, literally. Flooding. If you need garden seeds order today or tomorrow from Baker Creek. 100% of the sales go to flood victims! Yesterday they went to African floor victims, today Nebraska and Iowa, tomorrow the world.

Yes, the floods out in the mid-west have been frightening! On the news the other day, they were saying that the problem is not over yet because the snow melt from states above that feed into the rivers has not finished either. Farming is such a difficult business when weather related events can wipe completely out an entire year's crop and susequent income. I hope the government will offer farm aid to farmers for their losses. It especially worries me that the smaller farmers have less wiggle room to survive something like these current floods. When we hear that small farmers are having to give up their farms , that have been in the family for generations, it feels like watching the American backbone just melting away.
