Praying for both of you. I am so thankful I have a chiropractor that can relieve my back pain when needed.

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

Good morning ladies. Asking prayers. We are under a tornado warning for the next 1/2 hour. Our lower land is starting to get flooded.
Jt's interview has been rescheduled to this morning at 11. A phone interview. Prayers please for God's will for the outcome.

So Denise, did the storm pass by ok?
That is pretty frightening!
The watches come often...Thank goodness warnings are much less frequent!
Did you see the funnel?

Tornado warning is over. We are under a watch now and the wind is starting really gust. Expect we will lose some trees or limbs at the least. The power keeps flickering. I will be doing laundry and stitching unless it goes out. The only bad thing about being up on a hill is the wind. It is to be like this all day. I expect it is from the tropical storm.

Yes it is. We are under a tropical storm warning and flood watch is all. Wind is really gusting. Losing lots of limbs and we have a tree down on our chain link around the chicken yard. Power's out too.

When a tree limb fell on our chain link fence...It was demolished . That was during the ice storm. It was a huge limb. Be careful. How far inland are you?

We are about 3 miles inland. Power is out. We went to get some thing to eat and many traffic lights are police manned. It's a mess in the yard with lots of limbs down. There are trees down everywhere along the roads. Lots of clean up ahead. Thank you all for your prayers.

Wow you are close to the ocean. Much closer than I thought.
Are you still getting those crazy winds or has it calmed down? Where is the eye of the storm.?

It has passed us and went to NY. People back home have been showing pictures of wind damage up there and power is out for them too. Power went out at noon and we don't have an expected time of restoration yet.

We got very lucky with this hurricane. There were only two small shower bands that passed by in the early afternoon. By the time it was in the northern part of Florida, it had started to drift more away from the shoreline and being two hours inland kept us out of harms way. We were very lucky because it then ripped up the east coast and devastated many areas. For us, unfortunately, there will be many more threats until about mid-October.

Our power was estimated to return Thursday at 11am but it came back on at midnight. Very grateful for that. There is a lot of damage around but we never got the brunt of the storm that went through Philly and northeast of us. I'm just very grateful power was restored so quickly. Daughter's came back on an hour or 2 after us. I'm grateful for that as they have insulin they need to keep refrigerated for my grandson. Thank you all for your prayers. They are always very much appreciated.

Morning Girls, No problems here in Longview from the storm. We are just getting a little rain this morning. It could have been really bad had it been a little more west. Marlee has been on my mind this morning. It looks like the eye of the storm went right over her town. So prayers for her and her family.
