Well we have a baby Charlie in our family now. She was taken at 3am on Sunday, sept.27th. Emergency c section. This morning. She was low energy, born anemic so they took her to baby intensive care and ordered some blood for her. A neonatal nurse practitioner, friend of my niece who is a heart nurse told her the baby should be fine after she gets the blood. Since I'm not on Facebook I'll have to sit and wait until someone else tells me. Please pray.

My sister just sent me photos of a very pale baby prior to the transfusion and a very pink baby after the tranfusion...lying in her mom's arms. Thank you God.

I would like prayers and good thoughts for my daughter. She is currently packing necessary things expecting to be evacuated from the latest fire in Napa. I feel so sorry and helpless; they were evacuated for 2 ½ weeks two years ago. I just hate for them to be going through this again.

Hugs and prayers, Judith. Will they be coming to stay with you? So sorry people are having to evacuate like this. Those fires are terrible. We heard that Paradise may be hit again by one of the fires? The town was destroyed with the previous fires. What is there left to destroy?

We also heard that the Gender Reveal party that started one of these fires would be fined for starting the fire? Is this true? How can someone possibly pay for all the destruction?

And we are not wine drinkers, but I know a lot of farm girls are. One winery is already destroyed and I'm sure more are in Napa that are close to being destroyed. What will this do to the wine industry? And for years to come, since I believe the grape vines need to grow for years before good crops are available from them.

Judith, I am so sorry that your daughter has to evacuate again. Adding my prayers for your daughter that she will be safe and I hope these fires will soon be able to be put out for good. So much destruction has been happening out on the West Coast. It is all heart breaking.

Judith, praying for your daughter and her neighbors. So sad. California has such horrific fires every summer. My husband and son traveled to the San Helena area a few years ago to meet with some distant relatives and said what a beautiful area it is. I hope that she stays safe and that she will have a home to come back to.

Last year was bad for fires up and down the coast but I believe that since I moved to California in the 70's that this is the worst it has ever been, It is hopefully cleaning the forests and maybe won't have them as bad as this has been. Years ago they stopped the forestry from cleaning the brush and it has overgrown ever since. So lots of Tinder. Scary, I have a friend that lives up by Garberville and they almost had to evacuate but didn't after all.
Prayer for all families that have lost their homes and businesses and lost loved ones with these fires. Prayers for all those who have been fighting the fires. everywhere.

Take care!

So far this fire season 4 million acres have burned. As of yesterday over a dozen wineries have been destroyed or badly damaged along with hundreds of homes. My daughter is still at home, packed and ready to go to Nevada where there is a place for them to stay. The Glass fire is about 5 miles away from her at this time. Windy weather and low humidity is predicted. She lives in a mountainous area with a single winding road out of the area. When they evacuated two years ago they heard everyone's propane tanks exploding as they drove down the road. They just finished up all the repairs from the previous fire.

Denise -- I'm sorry JT isn't having his surgery yet. Waiting for help is hard.

Judith
