I thought I would do a quick update on my family.
My hubby is under the weather. Allergies are bad. The tree, I believe.
My son and Julie are fine.
Hadlee is happy that her finals are over!
B and T are doing great. She is still so thin...but she has a basketball belly! I love to see her. The day of her shower, she wore a long flowy dress! A beautiful young mother to be.. ...which may come sooner than January 16 th.
So please pray that her birthing baby Jasper goes perfectly, when God is ready!

Maryellen, great work! Beautiful quilts. You certainly spent a lot of time!
Your little Admirer/ helper is cute.
Carole, I'm loving the colors of your yarn. Reminds me of the south west...Arizona and Mexico!
Your work is beautiful.

One of my friends, and co-in-laws (she and her husband are Ed's son's in-laws) has a bad case of COVID; she has had the gurgly cough for over a week now, and hasn't felt like eating or drinking. Since we finally got her to drink some, and her doctor told her to drink hot liquids, she is finally starting to feel a little better. Please pray that she soon feels better and can beat this virus.

Our church, where our co-in-laws also go, has cancelled all in-person church services until sometime in January, because there have been over 10 cases recently among their congregants. Ed's son and DIL have also tested positive; hopefully our granddaughter won't come down with it, too. They have been working from home since soon after this pandemic started, so church is the main place they have gone out of the house.

My son and his family are coming over Thursday evening to open presents. Masks and social distancing will be practiced, at least by me, and I've ordered a sandwich tray so we can stay separated to eat. They probably won't be here too long. Unfortunately this Christmas is to be nothing like Christmases of the past. Hopefully next year things can get back to close to normal, the quicker the better.

I also just found out today that my uncle by marriage, who is 102 years old and an archabbot in the Catholic church, had COVID in November, and though he had to have oxygen for a couple weeks, the nursing staff in the infirmary at the abbey took very good care of him and he did not have to go to the hospital. That was such good news.

Linda, Wow that is good news about your 102 year old uncle, but sorry to hear about the others who have Covid. I sure will put you all in my prayers..
You take care too Linda and be careful.

Well tomorrow is the first nuclear stress test, the other is Thursday morning. I can’t have any chocolate or coffee, well that isn’t a bad thing I guess.
Take care you all prayers going up for you!

Blessings

Prayers for your good test results, Darlene.

Just found out a nephew also has COVID. This is definitely not a virus to fool with. He says he doesn't know where he got it because they stay at home.

My Co-in-law with COVID was told by her doctor to go to the ER and she won't go; she has been very sick for 10 days and her oxygen was down to 90%. Prayers for her, please. She is afraid that going would mean they put her on a ventilator. Ed tried to tell her that there are lots of things they can do to bring her oxygen level up before they would put her on a ventilator. The hospitals are so full they don't want to have to keep someone in the hospital. Plus they would hydrate her and give her oxygen, and a hospital would be able to give her one of the more powerful COVID drugs like Rendesivir or the other one. I hope her husband can convince her to go before she gets any worse. She hasn't been eating or drinking like she needs to.

I'll be praying for her, Linda. I can see why she'd be leary of going but let's hope that she does what's best for her and she will start to get well.

Adding my prayers here with the others, Linda, that your Co-In-law is experiencing serious issues with her case of Covid. Hopefully she will get better soon.
