| Today I am celebrating my freedom from working with a woman who is obviously in the early to mid stages of dementia. Thank goodness it is over. I will miss the sweet kids. |

| June 1st began as a rainy one. In fact the sprinkles started last evening and continued until we had about 5/8". We will take it. I drove to Weatherford, by way of Granbury to get a new brace for his drop foot. It was a wild goose chase.So I called his rehab place and his guy got on the phone with me. Turns out they thought that place had braces to sell, but they only do custom work with a doctor's prescriptiom. We all learned a good lesson, call and ask questions before a long drive. Anyway I stopped at Michaels. Yea! Problem...larger store, arranged completely different...oh my. Now we have a sunny afternoon with clouds to the north and west. |

Hammock day - sounds wonderful to me. So glad it occurs in the summer. Well, for us northern people anyway! 
Creme Brule Day - Yummy ...
Mango day - No go for me ... I'm allergic
Penuche Fudge day!
National Day of Cowboy - I'm good with that!
Ratcatcher Day - Glad we do not need of of those any more! reference to the Pied Piper!

| Today we celebrated our son's birthday. He is now 53 years young. Where did all those years go. It seems like such a short time ago that he was born...at 7:40 am. I recently told him that when they woke me up, the nurse said I had to wake up and hold him so my visitors could each have a turn. They had brought in eight chairs and each held a lady who was a grandmother, great grand mother, great aunt, great great aunts and friends...all on my husbands side of the family. They were so excited and I felt very blessed. Times have changed so much since then. Thank you God for the most awesome gift ...my son. Our son. |

| Ok, thanks Darlene. He was the first great grand child, so everyone was excited. We were in the hospital for three days and he was the only baby there. |

Well Carole, I had a Coke float yesterday. It was yum. My sister got married yesterday. I only know this because it was on facebook. She never called me to tell me or invite me. She is just too fancy! Plus...she knows my family still
