Thanks girls, for the birthday wishes. It was a good day, with a field trip to the fire dept. (Just across the street from the preschool).Lunch with family, and a nap. Then at 9:00 pm my son, d-in-l and granddaughters arrived with gifts. We were late because the girls went to youth group. The 15 year old came in crying and fell into her dad's arms. When she finally began to calm down, she answered our question: "what is wrong?" Her answer, " nothing is wrong, I Got Saved." Which was followed by more crying. We told her how wonderful this was, and I thanked God for such an awesome gift. The peace of knowing this is so comforting.

I love Fluffernutter sandwiches ;)! Ate more than my share as a child, and indulge on occasion now! A fluffernhutter sandwich and an ice cold glass of milk - oh my yum!

I HATE to even post this HERE....it's such a POSITIVE site !!!......soooooo,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,just the right people needed for what I'm about to ask tho :-) IF everyday is Prayer Day............can y'all lift me up in your prayers ? I don't really EVER post or usually whine :-).those that know me know that even as bad as the Lupus can get, I'm a very happy joking chin up kinda gal !!! I yigh yigh................I've been having issues with liver enzyme numbers being high and we reallllllly believed it was due to the chemo medicine I was on for the Lupus........so they took me off of it, expecting the numbers would go down.........bad news yesterday........not only have they not gone down, but are 3 1/2 times what they should be now. I am a woman who has always had a great deal of faith.................but this has really caught all of us by surprise.................especially considering I actually went to the doctor for blood sugars being too low !!! I guess I should be grateful that they caught this anyway ! ha ha..... I am gonna stop here and make it positive again.........GOD IS GOOD...all the time...........ALL THE TIME...God is good :-)....................I BELIEVE in the power of Prayer and in NUMBERS of prayers !!!! I ask all of ya to please say prayers for me and my family.............I see the Liver specialist the 26th of this month. I have been extremely exhausted...so missing in action a lil bit on MJF, but now I think I truly need y'alls' positive blessings of friendship and "Sisterhood" !!! Thanx so much and again, sooooo sorry if I've rained on anyone's Happy Place !

Jami, I am sorry to hear that you have been struggling with your Lupus. Hopefully, your medical team will be able to straighten things out and get you feeling better.

Ha, don't be embarrassed about flutternutter because this Farmgirl from Florida is clueless too! LOL!!

Ok, for those who don't know, a fluffernutter is a peanut butter and marshmallow creme sandwich. If you've never had one, you should give it a try!

Jami, hope your health improves, I'm praying for you. We all want to celebrate your return to good health status, my dear friend.

On a lighter note, today is the birthday of Dawn Wells, who played Mary Ann on "Gilligan's Island." So I'm asking the age old question -- Ginger or Mary Ann, which one would you rather be? I pick Mary Ann!

Happy Day!

Jami, I will be keeping you in prayer my friend. May God give wisdom to those who are working with you on this. That he would give them the right course of action to take and that he would give you his peace.

Amy, I would have to agree with you on Maryann!

Happy Birthday to your daughter, Denise, and enjoy the celebration!

For all the baseball fans, today is Mickey Mantel's birthday. This Oklahoma boy hit his first homerun in 1951 and played in over 2000 games before he retired in 1969. He was a big hero in our house!

Happy Day!
