That is great news for Baylee, Marilyn. Ed worked in L&D for a while. We are trying to download a picture of a small newborn named Aubrey he held in his hands. I'll attach it when we can get it downloaded.

February 20th

Northern Hemisphere Hoodie-Hoo Day

On this winter day, people go out at noon, wave their hands over their heads shouting "Hoodie-Hoo". It is a day to chase away winter blahs, and bring in spring.

Bay got to watch a C section birth and a normal birth yesterday. She was excited! This girl has never been freaked out by blood! I remember when she was about 8, her dad had a horse die, the vet was here and they decided to cut the horse open and look inside...Bay was right in there with those guys, taking it all in.

I'm glad she made it.
One day I was at our local clinic, sitting by the lab. A young mother, about 30 was holding a doll? Baby? It was very small. But she was there for the blood work they do on infants between 11 and 14 days old. Finally I asked how much the baby weighed. Good thing my husband was not there. He says I'm too nosey. I say I am a teacher. Besides people love to talk about themselves and their children. This baby girl was only four pounds. Her mom said she was perfect...just small. That was the smallest baby I have ever seen.

He was in the Nursery, not L&D. He was in the NICU. He liked it; and he says that as a lactation nurse, teaching someone to breast feed was hands-on. LOL!

Today February 21st is
National Sticky Bun Day
National Grain Free Day.
Hmm, not sure how that works on the same day.
Also this is the last couple days of

National Engineers Week!

I guess I will be celebrating my engineers with some sticky buns.
(JT and my Ohio son in law are both mechanical engineers)
