It is a blessing to know all of you! Thanks for posting this, Sherry, I had totally forgotten about this thread. My brain is like a sieve these days, not much stays in it! Today is actually Barbie Day. Remember your Barbie dolls? Mine had a blonde ponytail, that's all they had back then. I learned to sew so I could make her clothes. They are changing things up now with Barbies who are short, "full-figured" and with all different skin, eyes and hair colors.

Happy Day!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I celebrate that we have this forum where it feels like a big family and everyone can feel safe to talk about their questions and concerns. Although it is currently cloudy, we are in the middle of an explosion of Spring down here. Spring is always a celebration!!

Spring sounds good to me Winnie, our daffodils have been blooming like crazy and so are my calla lillies.

It is pretty out there, between the weather. :D

Today is Pi Day. Although it's intended to be about the mathematical "pi", I say we celebrate by eating "pie!" So much more fun than doing math! :)

Happy Day!

hahahahaha I did math while eating pie... though it was fractions, rather than working with pi :)

LOL! I sent my money to the government yesterday. I hate having to pay them. At least at our little post office there can't be that much of a line on Monday. I doubt they stay up collecting them until midnight, like at the huge Dallas distribution center. LOL!

Today is a day for celebration because my sweet little Seabrite hen successfully hatched her seven eggs. Cute tiny puff balls, different colors, none are related to her. No matter, she loves each one, and is keeping them under her feathers and teaching them to scratch. Now I must get them into a larger play and grow space where they will be safe.
