Heating up again today. 91 for the high. When I went out to get the mail it was warm but there was a nice breeze. I doubt it will stay that way.

Gorgeous morning in way upstate NY. Sat outside reading while being entertained by the sounds of Mother Nature. What a glorious day! Enjoy!

We have had a pretty day here today, blue sky and windy.
Have a good weekend all!

Another gorgeous day today! I've been sitting outside in the morning, enjoying my latte and reading to the Mother Nature's symphony! What a great way to start the day!

It was a warm day -- in the 90s-- but not too hot to enjoy a walk in the country through the eucalyptus trees at my son's house. He called and invited us over and a grandson called about the same time so we took him along and we had a nice family Fourth. A lovely surprise since we had just planned on staying home alone. We even had our traditional meal of cheese stuffed and bacon wrapped hot dogs and banana splits. I cheated and enjoyed a tiny one.

Judith, your fourth of July meal sounds good. Yesterday I watched a Mexican man on you tube make hot dogs. He cooked them in an iron skillet, with a tablespoon of oil ...but first he started his onions, then added the weiners, then on the other side of the skillet he put slices of jalopeno, and a bit more oil. He turned and tended it all. Then he filled the buns. Of course they have a squeeze of mayo, mustard, and ketchup. It looked good. Yours sounds better!

It's going to be a hot day today. 90 with heat index of 100. JT works outside so going to have to make sure he has lots of water with him. We are under a heat advisory for today.

We just had the most awesome Blessing Rain...complete with thunder and lightening. All from a tiny cloud on the Radar, and it barely caught the tip end of our marker on the Radar screen. You know what I say...that was an answer to my prayer. That was a God shower, but he decided to pour out His blessings right here. Thank you so much God.

I just took the dogs out. We had 1 and 1/2 inches in our rain guage. I am amazed! And so grateful. This was watering day for me. But the plants love the blessing rain so much more.

We had some storms last night. Warm again today but not as bad as yesterday. JT got caught in a downpour while working and was soaked clean through by the time he got home.

Brother! It is 2:45pm and it is the second time today that we had rain showers pass by!! Between showers, it is hot and humid. Day two of almost identical weather and it looks like this pattern is here for the rest of the week. How many more days until October?? LOL!!

Winnie are your plants growing like mine?
They really like the "green house" weather.

We're looking at a week of 99s and 100s too. Not looking forward to it at all. I have a yard project I want to do but would like the weather to be a little cooler like in the 80s. Wishful thinking....

Typical summer here. 90 today rain and 80 tomorrow and mid to upper 90s for the next week. I'll be staying in the craft room and library catching up on my stack of TBRs.

Mid 70's today and a light breeze going through the yard. I finished landscaping around the flag pole and have the sprinkler going now to perk the plants up a little. They will pout for a few days, but as root bound as they were in thier pots it won't take long for them to look happy again. It is supposed to be in the mid 60's tonight, I look forward to sleeping wth the windows open.

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

You and me too! Every time I went too the chicken pens today, to check on the three little babies, I emerged with sweat running down my face, and my body soaked.
