Winnie, I was just wondering how you fared in the tropical storm yesterday? Hope all is well and no damages.

Winnie, and Rebecca and our other sister's...are you wet? I am hoping you did not flood. Rushing water can be so destructive.

That looked like a wicked storm coming in. There was a weather cam and you see the waves coming into the beach, looked pretty bad over there.
I hope everyone is ok throught that storm.
Take care

We just had a bad storm come through, twice actually. Took out tree limbs and the power for a few hours. Came back on a only to go off again in a few minutes. Back on right now. We shall see what happens. The wind was treacherous. I do not like to see it come through like that. Hens stayed in, those smart gals. The sunshine was shining through the last storm. Weird.

Is this part of the tropical storm? I do it like scary storms. Stay safe and thank your pretty girls for staying inside and making beautiful eggs today.

I'm not sure where this storm came from it may have been the last of that tropical storm. I'm not sure as it looked like it was coming from the west. It is long over but the wind is still at it. We have limbs everywhere. Tomorrow will be clean up day I'm sure.

A beautiful day here today! Still a little breezy but so nice to have the fresh clean air blowing and the cool temperatures. Especially at this time of June. Usually we are sweating out in the 90's by now. It has been warm but this is a nice break in between. No humidity that is the important thing!

Hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful day today!

Yea for no humidity. I turned the AC on while ago. I love it when I can wait until June to be cooped up, with the Windows and doors closed. But I can see some good sleeping at night. It was pretty stuffy the last few nights.

Marilyn, We had the ceiling fan on last night and it was so cold. Had to get under the quilts. LOL! I'll take these temps as long as we can get them.

Denise, It sounds like your weather is very confused. I guess you enjoy the best from it.

Ours is kind of drippy from high fog.

Have a good one.

Tropical Storm colin dumped a bunch of rain here on Monday afternoon and night. It just so happens that I was helping my friend move to her new home and we got rained on big time! It was a mess. thankfully, however, by Tuesday morning, the storm had passed and when the movers arrived,it did not rain anymore that day. Some areas around my town got between 5-9 inches of rain so we really got a lot. If that amount of rain had kept up for longer, we would have had terrible flooding. Thankfully, the storm moved quickly across the state!

Glad to hear you fared okay albeit a messy day Winnie! Weather is sunny here again with a breeze. Only problem that poses is that I can't finish my painting on the porch.

We're expecting more bad storms here today. I still have a tree limb down that hasn't been cleaned up from the last storm! We've had so much damage here the tree guys are super busy. What's up with all this weather all over the place!

Happy Day!

I am glad your weather didn't hurt any of you. We have had much rain but now it's in the high 90s and very humid. More storms on the way.

HOt here the last two days, but gorgeous before that ;)! Hope we get some much needed rain later in the week. No rain keeps me quite busy watering all the flowers, and keeping bird baths full of cool water for our birds.
Glad everyone was safe from the weather last week . it was scary!
Have a blessed week :)

I hope you are all safe and the storm debris is being hauled away. Hopefully you will have some gentle, soaking rain.
