She sure had your number. Good thing your neighbor helped.

Hope you didn't get too burnt.

I know. My son was on his way, but they had a thirty minute drive to get here. Good neighbors are great to have.

Oh my I just saw a video on the weather channel and it showed a really dangerous hail storm in North Dakota! The wind was blowing tree parts all over and the hail was huge. The person taking the video was in a shed or garage and was yelling Oh my! It was wicked.

No Thank you for me.

There is a thunder storm in Clay County,Texas (Bowie, Tx.) This morning the radar is white. In only 15 minutes, they recorded 2,200 lightening strikes. I have never seen the radar look like that. I hope everyone there is ok. Fierce storm.

Indeed, it has been a crazy weather year! I do hope everyone is safe! Do check in if you have a minute.

Here in way northeast NY it has been hot! Of course hot to us is probably mild to you southern folks! We're talking in the 80's! For the past couple of nights I've had to sleep with the a/c on. I like peace and quiet so the noise is bothersome for me. Oh well! I did get to sleep with the a/c off last night, it was in the mid 60's in the evening.

Today it is cloudy, humid and hoping for more rain.

Our weather has been much like yours Carole, 78 today which was perfect, but the rest of the week will be in the upper 80's and 90's until the end of the week. My son and his family are here from Illinois this week so will be busy enjoying them and this weekend we will be heading to the lake for our annual family camping trip. I am looking forward to having all the kids and grandkids together for a weekend of fun in the sun. Enjoy your week everyone.

We got home late Saturday from a week in Virginia visiting family. It washout and humid up there too!! Down here, we are in our typical July/august pattern of hot, humid and afternoon showers on some days. There is very little change in the forecast now and won't change until late September unless something weird happens, which I doubt. So, I am grateful for AC and lots of good books and other things to keep me busy until better weather happens some time in late September and October.

Hot here, though we had a thunderstorm go through and took the temps down a little. At least we are getting rain this year. Last year was just hot. Pickling cucumbers are growing likecrazy. I am going to be busy with those for awhile. Everything is doing good except my peas. Hoping the rain helps them a bit though I have been watering. Looking forward to fall.

Did you ever notice how much better plants grow and produce when God does the watering? I read once that the lightening also is good for plant growth, electrical charges I guess.

You will be hotter than we are tomorrow Bonnie. That is not right. I guess I should warn my son. His family has a trip planned for the first of August to points north, not that far from you.

It was coolish today, a little foggy and misty too. So it must have been hot inland.

Hello everyone,

It's hot here in the way northeast of NY. We've hit our high of 86. To you southern folks it's probably a nice day but to us, it's a hot one. You can just feel the heat when you walk outside. In the evening it is "suppose" to go down into the 60's. I like the cool nights because I don't have to use the a/c.

Stay cool everyone! Cheers!
