It's very foggy here tonight. We are at dinner with friends and it will really be foggy when we go home.

Linda, hope you made it home okay last night. I went to bed no fog - woke up to it. Don't know if it came up from your way or down across the river. Either way I can't see past my neighbors back yard.

Fog here too, although it seems less dense than it did late last night.

linda, hope you got home safely in the fog.
Hi Marilyn hope your fog clears up soon.
It was clear here and the sun is out but cool.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Yes, Sara and Darlene - thanks. The fog was super thick. And having the brights on does not help at all - even makes the fog worse. Ed drove slower and we didn't meet many cars on the road. We didn't leave our friend's house until almost 1 AM. We were playing Chicken Foot Dominoes and lost track of time. LOL! It is still foggy today - and rainy.

So glad you are safe Linda! I got on here as soon as I woke up to check and see if you had posted! Fog can be so vision crippling! What is Chicken Foot Dominoes? This may sound crazy, but I have never played dominoes! I may need to look into getting a set for our family for game night. We thoroughly enjoy game night - Phase 10 and Blokus are favorites, though we have to play as teams, which isn't an issue! Candyland of course is a favorite as well. The children LOVE the "board" you made them Linda!

Fog is so scary to drive in glad all was okay Linda. I had to drive home in fog a few days ago, at least it was still daylight. That helped.

The weather here is going to be nasty tonight and in the morning here rain and ice, but later in the week it will be in the 50's.

It will be cold and snowy again after that. Just a normal Michigan winter. At least for the last few years.

I remember last January in Michigan weather, Brenda. It was the middle and end of the month, but at times there was lots of snow and ice. Brought back memories of growing up in Illinois.

Our watches and warnings are over, however it is still raining, and now I have a leak in my laundry room ceiling. The "spot" has been there almost since I bought the house 6-1/2 years ago, but it is in the flashing under the shingles at a point in the roof where two different walls meet. Well, the weather tonight must be coming in at just the right angle, because it is really leaking. I'll probably have to get up several times tonight if the rains keep up so I can empty the bucket. Wish me luck. LOL! I'll have to call in a repairman tomorrow and see when he can get here. There is a chance of rain almost every day this week.

Flashing issues are a problem, especially on older homes. They may have been added on to and of course they have had a few new hats or roofs in their lifetime. I hope the guy you call can get it fixed quickly, or you can always get him to nail a tarp over it until the rains stops.

Oh gosh, Linda, that is a total bummer to have a major roof leak! I hope you can get someone out soon to repair it properly so that further damage is not done.

Fog warning here last night! High of 70 today, all cloudy! no sun!

Linda, We had that same trouble with flashing around our dormers and where the roof joins the back peak on and off for years. We had it repaired many times, it would work awhile, then start leaking again! When we finally got a whole new roof and the guy re-did all the flashing and it has not leaked once in 10 years!

I'm sure that at least that section needs new flashing. I'm going to call someone today.

Linda so sorry you are having to deal with a leaking roof. Been there.

It's 61, sun shinning, slight breeze, and a late lunch on back deck. Life is good in my Little Eden. (that's what I named my little house)
