Dogs do sense things we cannot hear, see, or smell. Annie has only paced the floor once and it was the night she didn't want to go outside. She is my protector. The other day she was barking at my neighbor so I went outside to bring her in. When I got to the side fence she wasn't barking at my neighbor but the man visiting him. Annie didn't like the man at all. Her ears were back and her hair was standing up along her spine. About a 4" strip of black ran down her spine. She is fawn colored with a under layer of black hair which shows when her hair stands up. Annie as gently as she could took my arm in her mouth and pulled me away from the fence. Once she was away from the man her hair smooth down and she went to play with her fur pals along the back fence. Annie's a year old some time this month and she seems to size people up pretty quickly.

All of our sisters in the south east US need to watch the weather closely and pray today as the rest of us ask God to protect you. You are in a warning area, the pink one, that has not been issued since 2014. Our weather man said we should let you know.

We just had some fierce storms here in north Florida with high winds, hail and torrential rains! It looks to all have passed now and thankfully we have power and no damage!!!

I have no email service...since 5:45 yesterday. I have read, and tried everything. So at this point I give up. We had a power outage most of the night Friday into Saturday morning. Perhaps it did something. WiFi is good, internet is on. ?????

Today hi 50s and sunny. Yesterday we were under a wind advisory all day. Neighbors and I lost a few small limbs. Now for the clean up. Annie helps by dragging them to her stash of other things. Saves me from having to gather them up.

Sara,
We have a wind advisory until 4 today. It's really blowing out there! Rain on and off today. Have to go out today and not looking forward to it.

We are expecting more snow today, and some crazy winds. Hubby isnt expecting to go to work tomorrow, but we will see. Tonight they are saying up to 5 inches, then tomorrow 3, with 20-30 mph winds! We won't be able to see the road with all that wind! Thankfully we are suppose to be getting more wood tonight for the woodstove.

Denise, we had steady wind of 20 mph yesterday with gusts much stronger. Today it'll be around 7-10 mph which is sorta normal for us. Very few days during the year do we have no wind at all.

I am really thinking about all of you in line for bad weather. Prayers are already said. Stay safe. Shannon, you are getting the weather we usually get but we are in the 30-40 range. Grey and warm. Sun would be nice but is not an option. Hope everyone is ok.

Well, we were supposed to have nice sunny rest of the week but I'm doubting that for today. It is overcast and quite chilly here today. Rain earlier this moening.

We are having burst of snow for the rest of today. Heavy snowfall but only for a few minutes. Then a break and another burst. Really large flakes. When it coming down you can hardly see and then it just stops.

It snowed last night but when we woke up there was only snow on the roof and on our cars but nothing on the ground. Weird!

It is a rare treat when we have snow, and it is very unusual to get more than an inch or two. We have been mostly cloudy and pretty cool for a while so today is a very nice day.

Did anyone else in Texas notice the sky this evening? Here it was a beautiful blue all around the north, east and southern skies with bright pink above. The rhyme, Red sky at night, Sailor's delight came to mind.
Then I looked at the moon, lying on its back gathering rain. It was that way last night also.
