I wish I could share our rain with you. The rest of the week it will be in the 50s. With 30s at night. More spring-like next week.

80% chance of rain today. Hope I'm in that 80%. Most of the time lately I'm in the 20% area that gets no rain but I do get to see the lightening and hear the thunder.

It started out so sunny and bright and then the wind blew, hard, but it was pretty.

Beautiful and 88 today though it is a bit humid. Little warm for April but not totally unusual for May.

It is COLD, deep in the heart of TEXAS this afternoon. A norther with strong winds made it really dusty before lunch...I can see lots of sick people next week, because of that mess. After lunch it got really cool. Once again we have been in the 70s and 80s so 59 feels cold!

Not here, maybe north of us. They were predicting hail as big as canned ham. Right now we are between two systems. We have not had rain but my radar looks like Linda and Sara my be having a bit. Can you believe it has been snowing and icing in the panhandle, up around Amorillo. Remember the guy who fell off the mountain on his horse last fall, well he left Guymon, Ok this morning at 6, it was 33° and snowing. As he drove the temp rose to the 40s and it was pouring rain, so hard he had to pull over twice. Finally, nearing his parents home it was 85°,and he needed his AC and sunglasses. Crazy trip. We have dropped to 55, so I am closing Windows, wearing a sweat shirt and sweater. I am just cold.

And yes it is headed toward Sara so please keep these girls in your thoughts and prayers. The storms are about an hour west of me and the weather people are saying that there has been three tornado so far and am looking to have maybe another one, all over in Linda and Sara's area.

Sherry we're under a tornado watch till 10 p.m. but so far all we have gotten is a little rain and a lot thunder & lightening. I got a call from our community alert line telling about the tornado watch.

Paris does a good job keeping it's citizens informed on what is happening. The other day they call to say they were having a preparedness drill at one of the schools. It was to be about a tanker truck hitting a school bus. Said there would be helicopters in the air caring victims to the hospital and all first responders from the county would be there. I know people who live in that neighborhood or their kids go to school were glad for the heads up. I for one am glad that the first responders train especially in the times we live. Heaven forbid Paris should have a terrorist attack.

The bad storms missed me but Canton 60 miles southeast of Dallas was hit by a tornado and so were a couple of other east Texas towns. Total of five people lost their lives. Canton was hit by another tornado several years ago.

I am glad your safe Sara, that is too close I think even if it is 60 miles
Have a good day. Our weather is supposed to be dry for a week but it is gray at the moment.

Take care.

We are good here only had a little rain. Sure feel for all the people in Canton and surrounding areas, there was a least 4 tornado yesterday in a very short amount of time. There is just so many more people on Canton weekend which is the weekend before the first Monday of each month. So hundreds more people than usual in that town, so very thankful no more where injured or lost. Very calm here and a lot cooler 56. Cool front made it. Take care everyone.

Thanks Sherry for the update!

So sad that this is not on the Yahoo news! That to me is much more important than the crap they presently report on!

Stay safe everyone! Hugs!

Glad all of our Texas Framgirls are safe!! I just saw photos of the tornado that slammed on e city past night. The weather lately has been very scary with terrible storms. We are still in a drought and fires are a growing concern state wide.
