Sherry, sorry to hear you have so much clean up. Hope you get some sunshine so everything can get dried out.

Oh Sherry. If I was closer I'd be over in a heartbeat to help you clean up. So sorry you got a mess. We need rain badly here.

We actually saw some Sun shine today. My husband was so excited, he told me twice. We still had clouds but they were puffy, almost like whisky cotton balls, some white, some grey and some darker in the background. Very pretty.

Sherry, thank you for checking in! So sorry to read about the flooding. I know I keep repeating myself but, goodness it has been a strange year for weather.

Today is quite mild. We are getting lots of rain, which is good given that we did not get any snow.

Cheers!

Morning everyone, Furniture is back in place, carpet is down and everything seems to be good for now. Thanks everyone for the prayers and good wishes. It has warmed up but still a shower or two in the afternoons, just enough to keep everything soggy. It suppose to rain again this afternoon and then it is going to turn cool for a few days they are saying frost Sunday and Monday. We will see. I'll gladly share the rain. Take care everyone, have a good one.

Sherry, I hope this past week helped dry things out so you could clean up the mess from the flooding! Also, I hope nothing important was ruined beyond repair. Let us know when all is back in place and dry.

Amy, we are west of Sherry, a three to four hour drive. We had frost Saturday, Sunday Nd again this AM. Light, but damaging frost. We always have an Easter spell, meaning colder weather. So I hope this is it.
Our winter was so mild, I put my long black wool coat on less than ten times. Crazy.

Well our weather was wacky today, We had some dark clouds come in and dump lots of rain and hard winds then quit and the sun would be out with blue sky and lots of clouds, quite pretty, and then it would start again.

hugs

Oh no, that means we will probably see similar weather in two or three days. At least that has been the pattern.

Oh, oh. I'm with you, Marilyn. They are predicting rain later this week. And we usually get it from California.

Sounds like your weather is like ours, Darlene. The saying is "If you don't like the weather, stick around a few minutes - it will change."

As long as it is pretty on Wednesday, we have our egg hunt at school. Have you heard the old saying, 'If it rains on Easter Sunday, it will rain on each of the following seven Sundays.' I have only seen that not come true once.

That is the way it is here in Humboldt County. Normal weather here is a couple of days of nice weather and then grey days of rain or fog which we don't get as much as they used to here.
There were alerts of Snow in the mountains until about 7 am in the morning, it will probably be cold tomorrow.

No wonder everyone gets sick so often.

hugs

So true, and this has been a bad year for pneumonia. I have three friends who have family members, dealing with this. One passed away last weekend, one placed on hospice yesterday, both older. Then a 16 year old girl in Kansas. Not good. Frightening.

We had rain over the weekend and then a cold front passed through giving us a very cool and breezy Monday and mid 30s last night. Today starts another warm up trend with up to 80 by tomorrow. March always seems to be a roller coaster here in Florida. We are supposed to have another rainy weekend coming up. I hate it that Easter family celebrations will be washed out this year!

So far it isn't as cold as I thought it would be but the snow alerts are still in effect and it has rained off and on today.
I will put your friends in my prayers for Pneumonia, and you too Marilyn, take care of yourself as well
Wendy, I hope your weather gets better for your Easter celebrations. We are supposed to have an Easter egg hunt in the park Saturday. We shall see, we are stuffing the plastic eggs tonight at Bible study, I suppose we will make a plan in case of weather.
You all take care.
Blessings

Our egg hunt is tomorrow at pre school. There is no grass. Our fenced playground is small. I had wondered where on earth we could put 100 eggs. Then God said, "Open up the storage room and bring out the little cars and trikes, etc and hide some in, around and under them." God is so smart, he always has such good ideas. Hadlee helped me this morning. We filled goody bags and eggs. I am ready! I will take her to lunch tomorrow as thanks.

We had some nice days. Snow yesterday but it didn't stick. Sunny but a lot colder today. Looking forward to some warmer days.
