The WIND, the WIND, the WIND doth blow! That sound...I think wind may be my least favorite weather. Gusts up to 35 mph! Maybe it is because of all of the trees around my house, or the rattley old Windows, but enough is enough for me...I just read the weather ALERTS. High winds and fire danger today...ALL DAY...at least the temperature is in the 60's. I hope some of you have beautiful Spring weather today.

Pretty but cold. Maybe tomorrow will be blue and sunny with snow melted.

Have a good day Carole.

Blue skies and warmer but chilly morning here. I know what you mean about the wind Marilyn. By the third day I am just about stir crazy from listening to it.

Still to cold to get the windows open here Sherry. Enjoy your sunshine!
Had a little rain this morning and the clouds are still covering up the sun.

How are our farm girl sisters in Wisconsin/Minnesota doing? I saw pictures of an awful ice storm. After the Colorado blizzard and the Kansas/Oklahoma wild fires this has been another WILD WEATHER WEEK IN NORTH AMERICA!

That crazy Minnesota storm missed us by about 10 miles. Southern Minnesota was hit but we were not. Still in the 40s here but the spring flowers are popping their leaves up and the birds are singing their spring songs. The snow that did come will be gone in a day or so because it is too warm to stay. Still not what you want to see in the spring. I'm looking forward to Jubilee in May.

Gosh, Bonnie, you were really lucky to be just north of the storm! We are having some really wild weather here this weekend with rain storms. Last night at 4am, we had a gang buster of a thunder storm. More is predicted today and tomorrow. It is what happens when we are warm and a cold front tries to move is... KABOOM! March is always a volatile month down here because the colder fronts are still coming this far south and we have already been warming up in the Gulf and Atlantic waters. It makes for some pretty unstable weather with tornadoes and lightening.

Be careful Winnie. Stormy weather is very stressful. We get a lot of moist gulf air here as well. It is pretty humid a lot of the time. We have been dealing with allergies, stuffy noses and headaches due to the cedar pollen that comes up with the wind. There are massive numbers of cedar trees north of Austin and the south wind has blown very hard all week.

So many things are blooming here now :)! I took a beautiful photo of a Red Bud Tree this morning on my phone, but don't know how to get it here so you can see it! I did put it on my facebook page though. Hope everyone has a Blessed Easter!

Ruth, the Bradford pears and redbuds are so beautiful, showing off before the other trees wake up. We have oaks, pecans and crepe myrtles around our house. The pecans and crepe myrtles are so very cautious and slow. Growing up in west Texas we learned that spring was here when the misquite trees put on their leaves.

It kind of rained this morning off and on but cleared later and although there is a cold wind it is nice here.

Hope your day was a good one, mine was.

It was nice. We had our dinner at our son's home last night, so the girls could do Sunday Dinner and help with the egg hunt at their church. So this afternoon was pretty quiet.

"a rather blustery day" said Winnie the Pooh!

So much so that this morning I had to take care of the little church down the street from me. The wind blew the doors open! I had to use fabric to keep the stain glass doors from trashing on the rails. I know the pastor well, I'm sure she'll recognize my signature trade mark!

We did get a dusting of snow. I love spring! Always full of surprises!
