Beautiful Sara! Enjoy those fantastic temps. It started raining in the night and I think will probably continue. Light rain anyway. Supposed to have nice weather this weekend and we need a little rain anyway to get things green again.

Marilyn and Denise enjoy your day and do something fun. Maybe go tipping toeing through the tulips. A vision of Tiny Tim just flashed in my memory. What a way to start my day. lol

No tulips here yet but JT brought me home a few daffodils he found along the road on his way home. I'll stay in out of the rain and enjoy those!

Well I don't think I can tip toe thru my tulip bed. There are two beauties! Thank you God!

It is supposed to be nice here as well. I see clouds, and a bit of sunshine...we will see who wins!
When I was a little girl I thought I could see the image of shadow of a deer on the moon. Night before last I went outside about 11pm to look at the beautiful big brightly lit full moon. Sure enough there was the deer, just as I remembered!

That is neat Marilyn!
I remember when I was young thinking how far away the moon seemed. When I got older it seemed much closer and for some reason and I felt disappointment because not only did it seem closer but I could also see some of the shadow side. I guess it seemed more elusive then.

We have been having lots of wind with this rain. Supposed to clear up later today.

We just had another winter storm .... coming home the roads were awful ... it was the gorgeous heavy snow, although a beauty, it makes for greasy roads. Strange how we went from 50F temperatures down to 22F ... Oh well, spring is always funny like that.

We are sunny and cool. Some of our northern farm sisters are still getting deep snows, although they do usually get above freezing each day. I hope the snow melts and they have green grass before Easter. It bothers me to think about kids hunting eggs in snow!

Very dark and overcast. It has not been helping my mood today. I am so ready for us to have consecutive days of sunshine. It was so cold we fired up the wood stove in the family room. My poor daffodils need some jackets.

I'm sorry Denise. They were chem trailing our skies as we went to get my husband's truck this morning...but Mr. Sun came for a visit. So it was a nice day.
Thank you for my package Denise. That was so sweet of you. I am so excited about the bag/purse. I love, love, love the colors. About four years ago I bought some fabric to make a new bag, it still is not made... I could not find anything nearly as pretty as the one you sent. Thank you.
Thank you for your sweet note as well as the post it notes...I've not seen any like those...very sweet. Also, my fridge is happy to display the magnet! I hope you can sense my surprise and delight. God bless you.

We were hoping for a clear sunny day to work outside but it is overcast and we are going to get a bit of morning rain. Hopefully it won't stop us. It really needs to be done.

The first bands of the storm is moving into far west Lamar County. I'm on the eastside so it will take a while to get to me. Glad to hear you made it through, Marilyn.

I think some of the mischief from the storm in Texas is heading our way on Monday. Til the season for blustery spring storms!

Marilyn don't you just love it when the Lord tends our gardens with us.

Winnie maybe the approaching storm will cool things down for you. It did Texas. I've worn a flannel shirt all day.

Correction! We received two inches of rain! When I went out to get my chicken scratch bucket-- of course it had water in it. I stuck my finger in. Then I went to the rain guage. Sure enough two, 2 inches! A man who lives on down the road from us told us he had almost an inch...so that is what I wrote. God really blessed us!

Well God does surprise us. That overcast day we were supposed to have didn't happen. Instead we had a glorious sunshine day!
