We had rain off and on here it is not raining at the moment, I hope it clears tomorrow I need to shop!
I was watching a video on some storm watchers in Kansas and Oklahoma they were following some huge tornadoes,I haven’t finished watching yet.
In Bloom Kansas it totally demolished a mobile home luckily no one was home at the time. No one hurt! Then they were following two big tornadoes ,
Please keep safe everyone.
We had a 3.8 earthquake today out in the ocean North of Eureka, it creaked my house once. The wind was blowing hard at the same time so I had to check the computer to be sure.
Crazy weather
God be wth you everyone.

Love you all!

Darlene glad to hear the earthquake didn't damage your home. I've felt one of the earthquakes that hit OK a couple of years ago. First time and I hope it's the last time I experience an earthquake.

We'll be in the 80s for the next week. No rain until the 30th so hopefully we can dry out. My plants have been well watered by the rain and now they need sunshine.

You should all go to your radar maps right now. The tail of the snake is about where Connie lives. The head is ???maybe Wisconsin. You have to look at the whole map of the country.

As I was watering horses in the barn I noticed three buzzards circling around a grove of trees on the lease place next door. So I sent my son a text message. He sent one back saying he would go and see what they were after when he gets home...then he said we may have bad storms during the night. Still no storm watches or warnings...just very windy, sometimes cloudy, sometimes sunny and on so humid! Little blue dots are beginning to appear on the radar maps out west of us...We shall see. God, please keep us all safe. Thank you for blessing us with rain and sunshine. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have plenty of humidity...I could maybe share!?!?!?
We are in the lower 80s with humidity in the 60% range, but the wind is blowing steady at 21 mph, but every couple of minutes it does a big gust.

It was the most gorgeous weekend here. Today was sunny and warm but we had a great breeze! Spent this afternoon enjoying the porch with JT.

Yes the weather here was nice also. Breezy, with the sunshine...just like spring time was when I was a kid.

Oh yes, I turned the A.C. on yesterday because our kitchen is hot when I am cooking, and I decided it would be better to have a cooler cook who could cook the meal on the gas stove, than an exasperated one who was overheated.

Tonight feels a bit cooler than it has been. Couldn't sleep upstairs the last few nights. Too cool for the ac but hot enough to be uncomfortable with the allergies and all.

Pouring rain here this morning. Hoping it lets up soon. Giving me a horrible headache. Probably from the change in pressure. Pollen count is high here still.

Scattered band of rain moving in from the Gulf of Mexico - 20-30% change of rain. It's darker now at 9a.m. than when I got up at 6.

Denise I hope you feel better today.

We've been getting a lot of rain. The lake is still quite high. I don't mind rain ... I would rather tolerate rain than drought. My friends in Australia have been in severe drought for quite some years. I also wouldn't mind sharing my rain with them! lol

Cheers,

I have two words for the past week and the forecast future: BLISTERING HOT!!! And not a drop of rain either. This pattern is unusual for us in late May. Normally by now we would have afternoon thunder storms to cool things down. Everything is wilting and turning brown.

Well tonight we spent some time in our tiny basement waiting out the alert to take shelter. Tornado warning. Now we are under a watch. My pup was no happier about being down there than we were. Hoping there won't be anymore of those happening. We lost power almost immediately after that alerts came. It came back on about half an hour after it was all clear.

Going to be high temps today with another round of storms coming through tonight. Hoping not as bad as last night.there was a funnel cloud spotted not far from us but nothing came of it thankfully.

Denise the whole country seems to be experiencing tornados, high winds, hail and heavy rains which cause flooding. I'm sorry you had to go to the basement...but be glad you have a basement.
We are cloudy this morning, humid and the weather guessers are saying the rain will come around 11am and continue until dark thirty.
The last time we went to our cellar, was about four years ago when we had four storm systems, with extensive damage come through our area in a little over a week. That was the year Dublin, Texas had that horrid hail storm.
