I enjoyed it Marilyn.

Debbie, She is such a happy person even though she has had her limitations and that wheelchair for 30+ years. She says that someday she will walk again whether here or in the hereafter. She keeps her sunny disposition. She is a joy to visit with. The thing she says she misses most is doing her own housework and cooking.

Woke to rain and should rain all day. Thanks to the Lord because we sure do need it.

We are getting rain again today as well. I am not as grateful as Sara though. We have had many, many inches of it this year and I am still pumping water from my basement sump hole. Our dirt road (1.5 miles of it) becomes almost impossible to get down after a lot of rain. Looks like a good day for inside projects.

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

Always seems that some places don't get enough and some get too much rain.

Sara I'm glad you are having rain all day. We are so dry, this deep sand is hard on old ankles...It makes them sore. But......we have a nice breeze again today. I will take 87° with some cool wind almost any day. It does feel like AUTUMN!

Thanks, Sara. I thought today was supposed to bring us showers, but they may have changed that...a quick look at the radar did not give me much hope. I will talk to God!

Lovely weather today -- 86 degrees. Back to the 90s for the next week. Better than 100.

We are at 88° yes! Yes! The wind is from the south, thank you God. A breeze is nice but sometimes a wind makes it seem cooler. Like this afternoon. I would love a northern right now! And rain too!

87 and beautiful today. Low humidity so it doesn't feel that warm. Supposed to rain soon so that will cool us back down again.

As long as the A/C works, I can take it. Mornings are beautiful, but it does not get light until 6:30am, so by the time I work my way outside it is 7:30 or so...still quite nice. That is when I open two of the four chicken pens so they can cultivate. It is a job they are so good at. I talk to the young pullets as well as the four black roos. It is amazing to me that they already know their job. Evenings are nice and cool. Where did those mosquitos go??? So my hot time is barn time. Usually I try to go about 11:30-12:30...but today it was three and HOT!

75 here today- beautiful day for the first day of fall. By Friday we are supposed to have an overnight low in the 30's- possibly our first frost? Hope not, I am not quiet ready to give up my fresh veggies..

Julie I hope frost stays out of your forecast for a little longer. Northeast Texas first frost date is mid-Nov.

89 here today. Low humidity so not bad but this is the first day of fall so I was hoping forward to cooler temps.
They will be here though. October is really our nicest fall month. Sunny days and cool temperatures.

First day of autumn! Equinox!
October is my favorite month!
Of course, if I had arrived on my expected date, Sept. 21st, I might have had a different answer.
After thinking on that for all of 45 seconds, No! No! NO!!! October is like Denise said, sunny days with a cool breeze, makes for a most lovely month. Then add some color by nature and what could be more awesome. Thank you God that the hot temperatures will soon be changing to very pleasant ones. I love you

Julie in Northern New Hampshire the temps have been in the upper 30s for a week now. Sounds pretty cool to me! Do you have a greenhouse or some row cover???

94°, 39% humidity due to small wet clouds, all northwest and northeast of us.
I was really hoping for three inches of rain!
