Judith, I have to agree with you on the media. They have been telling us snow for a while now and we haven't seen a flake. It was 54 degrees today. They have another forecast coming saying we will get it this coming week but we are in the 2" range. Don't know what we will get.

Good Morning ladie,
It is a brisk -10 this morning and with the windchill we are at -26. We received 4 inches of new snow yesterday so everything is sparkling white this morning. I would love to spend all day bedside the fireplace and read or crochet wrapped up in a cozy blanket, but we have an appt. in town this afternoon so no such luck.

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

We are supposed to go up to 72 today, drop to 36 tonight. Now this is the strangest forecast I have seen. At midnight it should begin to rain, and continue until 4 am when at 38° we get snow! In fact it is supposed to snow until 8 am when the temp has dropped to 33° then rain some more! At noon the sun shall shine and at 4pm we should reach 46° I don't know if the weather guessers are trying to be silly or if it may really snow.

It is nice here as well. No sun yet, but it is trying! The streak across the eastern sky at sun rise made me repeat a childhood rhyme! Red sky in the morning ... Sailor take warning!

Rained all day here. So much so that JT couldn't go out on any of his jobs he had lined up.

83 degrees here today and more of the same after some rain moves through over the next few days. this coming weekend is supposed to be 78 everyday! It doesn't feel like Christmas when it gets so hot!! But this is Florida and it is all normal for us. It all makes my Christmas tree frown!! LOL!!!

Winnie, I will trade you. It was -19 this morning and has warmed up to -.8. It was a lot of extra layers when I went out to do chores.

Oh Julie brr! I don't know if I have ever been in temperatures that cold. I don't know how you do it. We are forecast for snow again tomorrow. So far we have received none any of the times it has been forecast for us.

Well we had no snow overnight...or perhaps I should day if we had any at all it either blew away or melted on its way or...??? This morning it was cloudy and
Dreary. This afternoon the sun came out. Of course it lured me away from the house work inside. I finished moving the pumpkin vine hay mulch over to the raised beds. Then I picked up the soaker hose, some trash, and fed the chickens. It was nice.

We woke to a light dusting off snow on the ground. So nice to finally see a little. Will probably be gone soon though.

Isn’t it interesting how vastly different the weather can be in one country? Basically, with about a two plus hour direct flight from where I live to Julie’s house, the temperature has over 100 degree difference!! This is amazing when you think about this sort of diversity. Weather has always fascinated me!

Winnie I agree. I was fascinated, this past summer and autumn, to see how similar our Texas weather was to Connie's and Denise's even with them north of us. Of course Texas is so big...the weather is vastly different. Snow in the pan handle and beach weather in the south...

The past two days we have had thunder storms at night but got 2 1/4" of much needed rain! Today is sunny and breezy but not too hot. They say it will be 80 on Tuesday before another rain front passes by on Wednesday.

Marilyn -- DH has been giving me updates on the weather there, at least in Jacksboro and Fort Worth. It's a big state but he pretty much said the same. I hope there is some sunshine left for me.

Hello from Austria. Weather here has been cold - about the same as at home. 40-45 in the daytime and 30s at night. Had rain starting out on Saturday, but then cleared off. Sunday in Vienna was overcast and supposed to be the same on Monday in Krems, Austria, when we are touring an Abbey. Been a nice trip, several Christmas markets. Haven’t bought much, yet, and may not. LOL

We have a new norther so today and tomorrow we will have a North wind with the sunshine...in the 40s.
Oops, no sunshine, so it is pretty raw at 36°, so I'm hoping we get to the 40s this afternoon.

Watching the news this morning, I see there is crazy weather all over. We woke up to 10 below zero. With the breeze blowing it gives us 22 below. I did extra chores last night so I wouldn't have to go out early this morning, but I am not looking forward to bundling up to go out upside. The fireplace and my valentine projects will keep me busy and cozy today.

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

We lost our internet during stormy weather yesterday twice, but after blinking twice the power stayed on. Scary thing was the warnings on our phones. Very loud...very demanding. Take shelter now...but the really bad part was 30 miles away.
