I know it is still mid August, but today I am posting for our annual SPG Apple Swap to coincide with the 2nd Annual Farmgirl Apple Festival at MJF. Do you remember last year on the main Forum where we shared apple information, recipes, apple picking excursions and apple facts while doing the new Apple Badge? Plus we ended the month with what is now a new tradition here at MJF: Apple Pie Sunday which is always the last Sunday in September. This year, it will be September 25!
I decided that I will post sign ups today through August 30. Partners will post on August 31. Hopefully everyone can send out their swap early in September so your partner will have new apple goodies to celebrate the month.

 Lily June's scarecrow, she has not seen it yet!Winnie, I would love to be a part of the Apple swap!! I have got the Fall Fever already!! We have below normal temps coming up next week, High of 83! one day.

| Hey everyone, I have a question for you. We have nine people here in this swap so I was wondering if you minded if I do the following. Sara Knight over on the main Forum started an apple swap for me there since I felt like I could not do one here and there with my upcoming travels. However, nobody has signed up with her yet. So, I was thinking I would match the eight of you as partners and take my name and put it over with Sara's swap since she went to the trouble to help me out. I hate it that nobody signed up yet after she contacted me to help me out and offered to host a swap. Would that be OK with you? I have already completed my apple swap box so I could easily meet Sara's timeline to mail before I leave. However, my first commitment is to you and if you are not OK with this plan, I can easily do something else. Please let me know what you think so I can let Sara know and sign up. Thanks everyone! |
