Judith maybe you can go into the main connection through a different way. See if it still happens if so maybe someone could email Bryan Ogle about it.

Next time keep the rock they are there for rock painters an then post to where ever it says on the back then they get to see where their rock went and you get a pretty painted rock to keep or give away. Mine haven’t got that far yet. Mostly I have used them for little gifts of art from me.

It’s fun especially if your stuck at home, keeps my mind busy.

Hugs love you all!

Judith, I don't understand what you mean by clicking on a message to get to the main site. Do you mean the main forum and are you clicking on a message here in the hen house somewhere?

It al seems to be working now but before, When I clicked on the link in the email it gave me the error message. The only way I could get there was to go to the website.

I think it must have been a server problem since going to the website worked. Nothing is perfect; ATT wasn't working properly so we switched to HughesNet. Big mistake-- expensive and didn't work as well as ATT. Now we are back to ATT with an ethernet line from router to tv. Works better but we still have to reset frequently. Some days I miss our big old tube tv that only needed a whack on the side every now and then.

I miss the old television too, I miss the old channels and I miss PBS. Haven’t had them in years.

We watch the old movies on several stations. We don't have cable tv - we see enough and get a good variety on regular channels with an HD antennae.

Our wonderful (?) new tv doesn't even get local stations We survive with Netflix, Prime, Sling, and Acorn. We got Sling so we could get TCM as we love old movies, too.I miss Jeopardy and local news. We used to have Direct TV bu the cost kept inching up so when it got to $140 I decided enough was enough and we could manage without it.

We had Directv also and when they said $141.00 finally my husband said "NO WAY."
That is when we went back to Dish.
The main attraction for me...the card that goes into the dish control box.
It keeps you from being HACKED.
I DON'T WATCH TV. BUT I HAD BEEN HACKED so many times while on Directv.

We have had Dish for 4 yrs now and seems to be the most reasonable. But then it's the only one we've had since using tv. We only got it because my dad was coming here. Didn't have it before that.

I have been working on small quilting projects to have on hand for gifts. They work up quickly and give some hand work to do in the evenings.

Does anyone remember this: tomorrow is May 29,2020... It is the 103rd birthday of JFK. I was 16 or 17 when he was elected.
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

Tomorrow, tomorrow! Tomorrow will be an exciting day! But the Golden Jubilee day is Saturday May 30, 2020.

I'll have to check out the pin cushion swap to see what everyone has made once they've swapped. Working on the R,W & Blue swap as well.

I took an online class of 18th Century sampler work. to was a beginning class in cross stitching with a basic old pattern of letters and numbers. One of the patterns was a little pin cushion, so I used that pattern, in modern bright colors , for my pin cushion swap. It was fun to make and I lope my swap partner enjoys it too.
I have been planning some embroidery patterns for Fall. I love primitive designs so I am trying to sketch some easy to make patterns. Now to actually make them into a real dishcloth! Sometimes, my made up ideas don’t work out so good!! LOL!!

Winnie, when I had my knees replaced I knew I would have a lot of down time. So hand work was the answer. On drop cloth fabric I drew pumpkins with embellishments. I used a brown thin line Sharpie to draw the pictures. Then remembering the BEAUTIFUL red work I had seen at Cabbage Rose quilt shop. I proceeded to draw snowmen, using a red thin line Sharpie, snow families, etc. For my friend I even put their cocker spaniel in with the pine trees and Mr and Mrs Snowman. I was very entertained and inspired. I did a lot of
pieces because red work goes so quickly. No looking for thread colors. Enjoy your preparations.

I have fallen in love with Marie Wallin designs: https://www.mariewallin.com

She creates Fairisle designs ... basically color work with yarn. I recently bought her book Gentle.

I did buy the yarn kit to create the cover project called Primrose. It is a gorgeous sweater and the colours are so delicious.

The kit as been patiently waiting for me to take it on ... but I'm getting cold feet ... So I thought I would practice first with this project ... Poppy Scarf:

I just placed an order for the yarn ... I cannot way to get it started. I figure it would be good practice for working with numerous colours.

Catch you all later.

I love the look of fair isle sweaters, and I admire anyone who can knit that way.
