Beautiful patterns and yarn Carole. I love squishy yarn.

I love fair isle things, but I will never try to make them. Too intricate for me. Can't wait to see yours.

Carole, your knitting is beautiful! What a gorgeous set!!

I finished this little Americana pillow the other day. Lately, I have been doing some real easy and simple cross stitching again. It has been 30+ years since I did any!

You did good Winnie. I have up cross stitch about the same time. I remember I was working on a piece of blue cross stitch fabric ( a kit) my eyes could not do it at night. Since I was teaching all day and milking cows too...I just gave up.

Winnie, love that pillow!

I have been doing more embroidery. I have a patriotic cross stitch that is in my ufo pile. I enjoy working on it but can't sit for long periods of time so I put it aside for awhile. Need to get it back out and see what I can do with it.

I have started on a few Apple swap projects as well. Also thinking I might need to start on a few Halloween projects too. You never know what might be coming up.

Well, you know I have been already thinking of Apple projects !! And Fall and Halloween!! Like you say, Julie, you never know what opportunities will arrive where you want a something fun to have on hand. I already have a few goodies for my Apple Giveaway and Swap that like to host during our Apple Festival too. When I see something I might can use, I buy it and put it in a closet where I keep all sorts of potential swap items and small gifts for unexpected needs. This way, I can get things on sale or make them ahead and have them ready to use. It helps me out a lot.

Just completed a quilt I started last February .... It's been sitting on my designer wall for quite some time. It was time for me to put it together.

I apologize for the not so good picture .... It really does not do it justice. I used feedback reproduction fabric, a line from Moda. I would have taken another one put the quilt is now loaded on Penelope! Here is one I found on the net with the name of the designer.

Mine looks just like that! lol

Catch you all later!

Carole -- nice job! It's similar to my red and white churndash quilt. Don't you just love reproduction fabrics?

Today was one of those days......We were going to get so much done....... First on the list was the leaky toilet. DH got a kit to fix the innards. He got it all put in and decided to clean up the corrosion around the handle. Apparently there was a crack or something and a big piece of porcelain fell off. He went back to Lowes (15 miles) to get a new toilet. While he was gone I carefully laid out the next quilt project to be basted and started pinning. He was gone a while so I got half of it pinned and went to scoot it over the table to do the rest of it and found that it was slightly cockeyed, just enough so the quilt batting missed the quilt top by about an inch. Dh came home with the new toilet and I started unpinning. Some days it's just one step forward and two steps back.

I feel like that today Judith. I got so much done yesterday in the craft room and today even started well but my back, sciatica, decided the day was going to change. I still managed to get things done because I push through so now I'm icing it. Does help a lot.
Every time JT has to work on plumbing or the cars or whatever, his day goes about like your toilet did. He either ends up with them giving him the wrong parts or something breaks in the process. I always tell him it's his last name because my dad always said that about ours when I was growing up. Lol.

LOL! Toilets are a problem. We have 3 here n the new house, however, one of them, the half bath and most used, has a problem flushing solid waste. We want to get a bidet toilet for the master bedroom, so will put that toilet in the half bath when that happens. Meanwhile, we have to tell guests (my son and his family were here today for Father's day) that if that have to do more than pee, then need to use one of the other bathrooms. LOL!

Judith, so frustrating! Hope had found time to quilt!

We've had quite the hot weather in way Upstate NY ... Sunday I went into town and purchased an a/c for the quilting room. No sense sweating to death ... once installed I went right to machine quilting the True Blue feed sack quilt.

Almost done with it!
