Darlene,
Thank you so much for the wonderful package. The little rock you painted is so sweet. I put it on my kitchen windowsill. Will think of you everytime I see it. I am looking forward to using the little stackable jars. What a neat idea those are. And the towel is too cute! I will use the bookmarks for marking favorite recipes and the seeds I have had never had that before. Will get it started soon. Thinking I can grow it in a container. The timer and little pan will come in handy as well as those pretty napkins for my table. Thanks so much for swapping with me!

Carole, your wonderful package arrived last evening and it was wonderful!! You had a perfect idea for my porch because I love to be out there for morning coffee and evening tea(the only cool times right now in Florida). The mug and coasters are fun and will be enjoyed. I like that the coasters are weather tolerant as well. The Teavana brand is totally new to me and I can't wait to check out this Peach blend. And who doesn't love those sweet lemon cookies?? Yum!! The Victoria magazine is new to me and the first glance revealed lots of fun photos and topics to read up on. Thank-you for putting together a sweet and fun porch swap for me!! I will enjoy using all of it and we have many more months of porch sitting down here!!

Your welcome Denise, it was fun to put together! I especially loved the towel, the little goat was so pretty.
Those seeds were new to me too so I am not sure how they will grow!

Marilyn asked me to post what I made her for the Summer Swap, because she has had a busy couple days and I had taken pictures. I made a rain chain for her patio/porch area. I have been looking for ideas on Pinterest and thought this was a good time to make one. I bought the chain and added some small Red Cups, some cat toys with bells in them, and a few fabric ties. I'm hoping the bells in the cat balls will make a little noise when the water runs through them. These pictures are on the front of my house.
  
After this one was finished and turned out so nice, I made me one. It is hung at a corner of our carport in back where there is no gutter.

| We were watching "This old House" last night and they hung a rain chain into a pot of rocks to keep water from damaging the foundation. I told DH I wanted a rain chain for Christmas (He hasn't bought a Christmas present in years). Instead of waiting to see if I get one not I think I will steal your idea and make my own. I like the idea of the jingle cat toys on it. How did you attach the cups and things? |
