We are getting temps in the 50s all week. At least it will be sunny until Friday. We no longer have wood heat. The fireplace is gas. We haven't had the use of gas for 23 years. Two of those years we were in Florida and the last 21 we used wood. I do have to say I won't miss having to stock and stack the woodpile. Getting out the fuzzy socks and flannels.

It rained off and on yesterday here and from Redding. Today we had some too.
It is cool here, I need to turn on my heater.
Have a good night.

Love you all!

Well, we had one rainy stormy day while this cold front tries to push on down. So far, we have had about 3 inches of rain, and we might have a few more showers tomorrow before all is finished. We sure needed the rain, but it came with thunder, lightening, a couple of tornadoes and lots of gusty winds. Lots of drama!!

It's starting to get quite chilly here these days. Our high was 47 today and is expected to be so tomorrow again.

We have had a huge rain storm descend on us late yesterday and got 3.5 inches of rain overnight. Today it is cloudy and in the 50s. It feels that kind of cold that is raw and miserable. Tomorrow is supposed to clear up and then next week we head back up into the mid to upper 70s. Such a roller coaster down here!

We had a beautiful day yesterday. It was 58 but the sun was warm. Went to watch a ballgame then had a "picnic" after. We ate inside though. So though we had picnic food it was too chilly to eat outside. This way we didn't have to eat with our jackets on. It may warm up a bit this week I think.

Sunday morning...did everyone set your clocks back last night???
I'm so confused, about the time change this year. I read something that said we usually fall back on Halloween but it was moved this year because we are changing calendars. We will be or we are using the Julian calendar from now on.

I always love setting the clocks back. It has been SO cold the last few days, a wind that cuts right through you. Some rain sprinkled in. I thought it was a good day to put some beans and sausage in the crockpot and had some cornbread to go with it. Now I’m under a quilt catching up with you girls!

I set my clocks the night before when I remember to and the rest set themselves! I have three that are analog, they keep good time
It didn’t bother me much today, tis good. I don’t like it getting dark early much.

Have a good week!
Love you all!

I don't think we are really supposed to get any accumulation.
In the 60's today but feels colder.

Yes Winnie, I had to bring my pumpkins in. I babysat last night and on the way home it started to rain which turned to snow. Now as I looked out this morning I noticed snow on the car windshield and on the flower gardens. I'm sure it will be gone as it warms a little today. I personally love it! I haven't seen snow before Thanksgiving since we lived in Pennsylvania 22 years ago. We were only there for about a year but we had snow from Before the holidays until Spring.

It snowed all morning yesterday until around 11. Snow was gone by late afternoon. They are saying rain and snow for today.

We got a cold front arrival late Saturday and yesterday and today are sunny and chilly. It is a great change but will fade as we move forward into the week now.

We finally have a real storm-- wind and rain; I think we had more rain in the last 24 hours than we had all of last year. Trees down and some flooding but the water is very welcome.
