We didn’t have any snow here just some rain.
Jeff said my daughter has improved some this morning, please keep praying for her.
Thank you so much for them.

The doctor test said I probably will be here until my next appointment with my knee Doctor on Jan 21. I want to be home but the way the weather is supposed to be in the mountains with snow it is better I am here

Love you all

Tomorrow we may get rain and possibly storms. A good night to stay in - we are usually in bed before midnight, anyway. However, if weather is not bad, friends may come over to play Chickenfoot dominoes. They are Ed's son's inlaws and live at the other end of our street. LOL!

Sunny today; high of 54 and lower 30s tonight. Time to bring the orchids under cover.

Sat outside in this 73 Degree weather in North Carolina the last day of December. Had a little shower this afternoon and the weather still didn't turn cold. Just got home from playing Big Boggle with Daughter and son in law. They live less than 5 minutes away with no major roads. Hubby just got home from work safely. Praise God. We will watch a TV show and then off to bed. Don't think we will see midnight. Linda I have never heard of Chickenfoot Dominoes, Mike and I play Mexican Train with friends. Sounds interesting. We are a toasty 10 degrees this morning with a high reaching 28 this afternoon. The sun will be out so no consolation of snow with these cold temps.

We are doing the Florida Cha-Cha down here! One step to cold with a back step to warm, repeat!! But it has given us some real sweater days and I am so thrilled to be able to wear my clod weather clothes..Mewanwhile, it has been warm enough during the first part of the month that many Azalea bushes are blooming away and our Japanese Magnolia trees are in full bloom all over the city. They are gorgeous!!

Oh Winnie, that sounds wonderful! It's been a typical January here...below zero and today it's snowing like crazy. It's the best quilting weather there is!

Getting a little snow today. Not much but I'll take it over rain. I think they say less than an inch.

We had the tail end of that big front pass through early sunday morning. It gave us a much needed 1.5 inches of rain and a blustery day. Today it all cleaned up and was sunny but chilly. Tonight we should get our first frost. I have azaleas in my yard in full bloom right now too. Then we get a bit of a warm up before more rain this coming weekend with cold temps again. It looks like Winter finally arrived in Gainesville, Florida!!

Well Ladies we just had a huge winter storm come through yesterday. Well huge for us. Lots of power outages across North And South Carolina. The roads are a mess. I live in Denver North Carolina which is just west of Charlotte. We had 8 inches of snow, which is lots for us. I am not complaining, we were blessed to have power the entire time while so many still don't. I have no need to go anywhere which is but yet another blessing. The amazing thing is the weathermen had this storm predicted correct almost to the hour. Usually lots of threats and little happens. We were just on the edge of the freezing rain. The roads here will be bad for days.

We got some snow last night and this morning. We only ended up with an inch or two. So pretty. The roads weren't bad as they had treated them ahead of the storm.

We had beautiful 60 degree weather yesterday. Though today will be close to that warm it has been raining since late last night and will continue all day.

We are having a week of dry days in the low 80s. Spring is just bursting out everywhere and the Bumblebees on my azalea bushes are busy, busy!! We are very dry, however, and behind in rainfall since January. Hopefully some changes will bring us rain soon!

Rather unfortunately we have had nice weather too. Trees are blooming but we haven't had a drop of rain since December and are still waiting for winter.

Yesterday the 60s, today the 30s but sunshine. Tomorrow we are getting rain and then snow again. Guess we just can't make up our minds. I bet your azaleas are beautiful.

Always love to see the sunrise Darlene.

We are getting sleet here this morning. So things will be messy for the morning commute in a few hours.

After our rain stopped the wind started and has made it chilly here. Going to spend some time in the sewing room. A good day for tea too!

It finally got cold here; 25 the lat two nights. What plants I couldn't move under cover are covered with sheets. Looks like ghosts all over the yard.

A week of 80s and low humidity with lots of sunshine. This is typical for moving into March which after all is Spring break month when Florida beaches swell with frozen northerners enjoying lots of sunshine tee shirts and flip flops!!

We are in the 60s today with rain and thunder storms. Tomorrow we are cooling down and they have forecast for snow Saturday. I like snow but not once we have had these warm 70 degree days.

Winnie -

I was wondering if today's storms, remainders of the ones that went through Texas with tornadoes on Monday, are coming through your area today? Stay safe.

We had some heavy rains as a cold front approaches and will move through tomorrow. Then we are supposed to cool way down to low 70s and 40s at night which will be much cooler again. Works for me!!
