Good morning Wildflowers! I would just like to say how much I enjoy being a part of this group of “farm girls”. Even though I don’t comment on every post, I love everything that you all share, and I hope everyone has a blessed weekend!

A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

No, I just found it (and some others to post later) when I had some free time this morning. But wouldn't it be fun to press some flowers and make some cards like that! I might add that to my to do list for this summer.

That is how I can tell the difference between an OK book and a great book - if I fall asleep at night reading it it's an OK book. If I loose track of time and stay up way too late without falling asleep it's a great book!!!

On this Tuesday morning...you have made me smile and smile some more. Thank you ladies. I am determined to grow something in my two new Green Stalk planters. One is filled with strawberry plants, in the other I've planted seeds, then I decided to toss some turnip seed, in an empty flower bed.t And I planted some seeds in some tubs of soil, left from two years ago... I knew I was going to experience some pain...but it is so bad. Almost like the pain I had three days after the fall. So today I will water, then read...and read some more.
Between my husband and his chickens, they seem determined for me to fail.
I asked if he would pen the girls for a week or two just to give the seeds time to come up. After he yelled at me about how unfair it was to make them stay in the pen...I reminded him of when he had a big garden and the chickens were mine...I said they were penned until the garden stopped producing. Months and Months!
So yesterday...I only had one black hen...who watched me plant and water...then she scratched and scratched, digging up every seed I had planted. Oh well. More butternut seeds are needed...and I'm so glad I saved the seeds.
Have a wonderful day. Enjoy God's blessings
Thank

If you love our Lord, this little book will be such a blessing to you as it was
to me. It is short, just 56 pages. You can find it on Amazon. Less than $10. It is written by a great woman of faith. If you live in the northern,
central states you may already know of her.
Our Tribe of Many is a podcast that I enjoy. Her grand daughter is the one who told about hergrandmother and the book.

Jami - the titles certainly get your attention LOL!

What a beautiful picture Debbie!

Marilyn - sorry to hear the chickens are making you work twice as hard. Especially since you hurt after planting! I wonder if there's anything you can put down to deter them. I was told to put citrus peels in my flower beds to keep my cats out of them after I plant my flowers and it seemed to work.

Happy wet Wednesday (it's raining LOL - which is much better than what I hear is happening in the northern plains!) Hope everyone is having a great day.

Sounds like my husband. He wishes we were getting some of the snow instead of rain. Usually I would feel the same, but I'm itchin to get in the garden this year.
