That is an orange blossom, Florida'state state flower. I don't know if you've ever smelled them when an orchard is in bloom but my oh my do they smell fantastic. My parents lived across the road from an orchard and I loved going there when it was time for them to blossom.

We have have purple crocus and daffodil up here now but I love when the violets show up. I used to have them all up and down the sides of our driveway in NJ. I do miss all our wildflowers there. The violets were purple ones and white with purple streaks. I will not be making violet jelly this year unless we have some we don't know about.

These flower photos are all just gorgeous! I have never seen Texas Blue Bonnets before and they are very dainty and beautiful! The violets look like the kind I used to see as a child in Virginia.

Thank you, Denise, the bluebonnets only bloom for a while in the spring and there are places in Texas that there are fields of them. We all need more flowers.https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=Texas%20Bluebonnets&FORM=IQFRBA&id=43550471FE61CF0C4871F8B40DE27615073458C9
