Yes! It’s so true. I reminded myself last night as both my hubby and the French bulldog were snoring that it could be worse…I could be all alone. It would be quiet but I would be sad. And not too long after thinking that, I fell asleep! :)

Karen,
I've had those thoughts too when that happens. If I get upset with JT about something I remember back to a time when something had happened to him that could've turned out much worse and I remember how grateful I was that it wasn't. When I become grateful it is hard to stay upset over the trivial things.

Remember to "stick together" out there this week!

Lol! So true!!

When we were in China, our guide often told us to stick together like sticky rice. The Chinese are always trying to squeeze in where there isn’t room in a line or group, especially when they’re trying to get on a bus or other transportation.

I love that idea of "stick together". There are many times when exercising that concept is useful and necessary. I miss being able to make a snowman again. I enjoyed making many in our yard when I was little. Today, we are moving into temps of the low 70s and the sun is shining bright. Florida is another universe this time of year compared to the majority of the US weather. I guess that is why so many a"snowbirds show" up down hereby late November along with the real migrating birds.

My day brightner is that my husband had melanoma surgery on the top of his head and that it did not spread to the lymph nodes. Also, I fell and broke my foot but I can still walk. Hope is cleaning and organizing my sewing room will happen soon!

Bonnie, good news about your husbands surgery and that you are still able to get around with your broken foot! Prayers to you both for a fast healing!

Today the migrating Robins visited my yard! It is always a special day when they show up because my Mom and I raised a baby Robin one year that fell out of its nest and the Mom was no where to be found. The Robins are around herein January and February before they take off for more northern states to raise a family. I just love them and they always remind me of home and my Mom.

I am also very fortunate to have the robins come to my yard although such a short visit.
I love it. I don’t know if they got blown away recently though. All the winds and storms! I do enjoy them when they are here.

Winnie,
Such a treasured memory and lovely that the robin's give you that feling of home and your mom.
No robin's here yet but JT spotted a bluebird the other day. I wonder if that means the rest of our winter will be mild?
